I am amazed at how corn can thrive in 110 degree heat! Same with tomatoes they both love the heat rest of our crop not so much! I think we are gonna break a record today topping out at 115 degrees today and 118 tomorrow! Thanks for all your updates Eric. Love the channel!
So here is an interesting question. Why do we never see any tropical storms/ hurricanes hitting South America? Is the water typically not warm enough to support an organized system? We obviously hear a lot about Northern Hemisphere cyclones but almost nothing about one south of the equator. I just thought this would be interesting. Thanks for all the hard work you do for these videos!
Eric Snodgrass my friend, hope you enjoyed your holiday with your family!! I ate lots of burgers , hot dogs and brats. And some beer. Beryl will increase to cat 2 and some rapid strengthening in Gulf of mexico. Happy holiday weekend!! Chambersburg😅 Pennsylvania received about .80" of rain 🌧️🌧️ here last night . Observed and rain very hard, three rounds of storms .
I'm living for these daily updates. We've needed rain for years in N CFL. Hopefully, we will get a normal subtropical type summer. AZ, too... Phoenix NEEDS their monsoon season so badly.
Thank you. Will the remnants of Beryl effect the the formation/timing of the "third" high pressure system you have been anticipating forming over the south/central US?

That right front quad may be quite active with tropical tornadoes 🌪️

My forecast for East Coast USA next week, t showers likely Tuesday through Friday Eric
I wish we could get several inches here in Delaware, we haven’t been this dry in over a decade.
I would definitely download your weather app. Looking forward to trying it out, so please let us know when it is available.
A 2" rain has unrolled the corn and put tassels everywhere. Bumper crop on the way.
I still have all of my fingers today.
It's not looking hopeful for any type of widespread, much needed rain to push through eastern Illinois, unfortunately.
Hope you enjoyed your independence day holiday .
Is it typical for this time of year to lose the subtropical jet stream? If not, what has happened to it?
