They said the same BS about how last winter was going to be bitter cold and snowy. We didn’t really even have a winter last year.
It’s a losing bet to bet on cold and snow nowadays. That stuff is basically reserved for Canada and Alaska now
We did in TN
Bingo
@@brandi6296yeah memphis area got a couple good snows and a ice storm. wayyyy more than usual lol
It’s the Weenies. They always forecast record cold/snow even when it’s obvious it’s extremely unlikely. Just note that strong El Niños (like 2023-24) tend to bring very mild winters to the northern U.S.
What we need is the wettest wildest coldest snowiest winter to ever be seen in the history of mankind itself.
I would love that.
@@TheVoiceofTheProphetElizerme too
yes!!!
In Toledo blizzard 1978 was awesome.😊
Hilarious 😂💪🏼
Michigan on average hasn't had a proper winter since 2014-2017....since then weve had mild and minimal snowfall.
I live here in Western and Whittier NC and want to know how cold and snowy is going to get here.
Haarp
😂
Remember this a observation and not a forecast.
K…
Your Grammer Sucks
Remember this is a cycle that is very likely and if you know science and stats you’ll know this is how it works with El Niño lifting followed by cooling
@@ecooutdoorsI remember last yr weather winter predictions for WNY record snowfall all winter, complete opposite happened
@@sal4856 it was during an El Niño last year 😂 whoever thinks winter will be heavy during a once in a decade warm cycle is just nuts.
" Foot of snow " Those of us who live in the Michigan Lake effect snow area think 12" of snow is normal to below normal during the winter.
Thats like one little storm for you guys.
When I lived in Michigan, close to Lake Michigan, we had a total yearly snowfall of nearly ten feet.
@@gene4094 That 10 feet of snow was probably around 1978. I was gone in the US Navy in San Diego. Mother and Dad told me about how they were stuck in the house and very glad they had a pantry in the basement, a good water source, and a tank full of propane for heating and cooking.
@@jerryodell1168 that storm was a horrible, but I can’t remember the exact year of the near ten footer. 😀I moved south where four inches is an Armageddon.
@@gene4094 While we were in San Diego that year we went up in the mountains to Julian, California so our Daughter could play in the snow one year. That day was once in in 30 years when the triple event happened. We played in the warm Pacific Ocean in the morning, changed into warm cloths and drove to Julian where we played in the snow, and then drove over to the desert where as far as you could see in all directions the desert was blooming with beautiful flowers.
You don't know what a bad blizzard is like unless you were alive during the Blizzard of '77.
My sister was born in Scotland December 1976 and my parents couldn't take her outside for a stroll in her pram until March.
@@richardpaterson7353 I was going on 5 at the time. I remember trying to walk through the snow to school. Yes even through a lot of the worst storms then we still went to school. Back when educators educated and not pushing their activism on their students.
Anyway. The snow was nearly 2 feet deep. As a kid I was under size and under weight. So it was really tough for me trying to walk through all that snow. I think I spent more time face planted in the snow then I did on my feet.
Id rather have snow than heat.
Dam straight 👍
This summer has been like a sauna. I didn't want to wish the summer away but I really do not enjoy these hot, humid temperatures.
It's not going to happen not when you have EL NINO it's going to be very warm or hot for the northwest this Winter.
I can't wait for winter, I can't stand the heat and humidity in Indiana anymore. Plus it's much cheaper to heat my house than cool it.
I loved southern Indiana! We saw the total solar eclipse at McComick's State Park April 8th. It was #1 on my bucket list. Great Park. Midwest nice. Where I live hot weather is such a rare treat.
@@RareGenXer I have most of my summer days at 100F with many over 110F to 116F. I don't use air conditioning. You need to learn to acclimate to your environment, or move. My local electric rates are $0.35xx per kWh from 5pm to 8pm. If it gets too hot, I go stand under the cold shower for a few seconds.
@Raregenx I'm in S. Indiana and I was lucky enough to watch the eclipse in my back yard, with Pink Floyd playing on my truck radio. It was beautiful!
@@pegs1659 Noice!
Us too. We have a wood stove. You must too?
Until cloud seeding and other weather manipulation stops, the forecasts are a joke.
So you’d rather be without water in those years that it doesn’t rain enough and we end up in a drought
Then stop watching these forecasts?
@@isaiahbenderbest comment on this whole video
I don’t know about the forecasting being a joke, but I will definitely agree that ANY weather engineering should stop!
@@Faithfulfamily , even if there’s a severe drought and crops need rain. You’re just fine with the food supply dying.
As someone from Massachusetts... I no longer have hope in having an actual winter. It's just gonna be an extended fall again, no snow, just rain and occasional cold snaps. I don't think we've had 4+ inch snow storms in years. Sad really cause Winter is my favorite season.
I am the RainMaker. I will make it snow this winter.
Living just north of Boston we have had some really warm and rainy winters since about 2015. It seems every year we are told we are going to have a colder than normal and above average amount of snowfall and we fall really short on both. I take every "Winter Forecast" with a grain of salt now so I dont get let down.
I’m in WI and have HATED the last few winters. Zero snow, mild temps, and cloudy 😩 I’m really hoping for freezing temps and lots of snow ❄️ 👏🏼
I’ve been waiting for that for decades now.
We had a very solid January. We had a 20 inches on the ground for most of the month! Then February came 😂.
Bro 2022/2023 winter in western ND was BRUTAL tunnels through the snow in places. 6 weeks of non stop snow and negative weather.
Lol
I’m a lifelong MN and last winter was the best winter I’ve had in 46 years!!
@@adampecore6917 "Best" as in it was filled with snow and cold or "best" as in it was much warmer than it usually is?
I hope it comes true. I hate the summertime heat so much.
Me too. Summer sucks.
Me too
I hate winter cold it’s to cold in winter
I like summer for the fresh vegetables and outdoors but by august I’m done. I’m a snow lover so I’m hoping we snow and cold this year. The last few winters have been mild.
I HOPE we get a cold, snowy winter this year!! 🌬 ❄️ ☃️
I do really hope we get a lot of snow this winter!!!
SUMMER IS OVERRATED 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
Even Mother Nature is going woke
I've been ice fishing the great lakes since the early 1980's. Back then we used to drive our cars on the lakes. Haven't been able to do that in 20 years. The last 3 years we didn't get enough ice to walk on.
I remember that time. We always had very cold winters here in northern IL back then.
Come to northern Minnesota, there is always plenty of ice 😩
I'm So Ready For Winter Season ❤❤❤
Buy a new crystal ball. Give me this weekend's weather.
Absolutely love these types of winter here in Central Illinois! Especially that cold blast that comes in March. Hope we get to experience something like it!
So, what would be a favorable pattern for the Ohio Valley? It seems that Cincinnati doesn’t get much snow anymore. We got clobbered in the latest 70s. In my lifetime, 2008, 2009 stick out. There was a wicked Nor’easter in 2013 also if memory is correct.
After 2021 here in North Texas I want no snow or ice.
We got like no snow, just three inch clipper storms. I really hope we see more this year. We seem to not get very much of a winter at all in indiana. Im hoping for a come back soon. Two years in a row we had just a very mild winter with just slushy roads. I’ll be disappointed yet again if we go through yet another dry spell again like we always do. I stopped believing that we will ever see a white christmas here.
When I was a kid, southern Indiana would get big snow storms almost every winter. I would go sledding down hills and walk through the snowy woods. WTH happened?
I think the 50 year average for Gaylord, MI. is 180”, 15’ in total.
Experts can't tell us the weather a week from now how are they going to tell us 3 months from now.
Hi
Any Observations For The UK?
SO FED UP Of The Warn Wet Crap We Are Getting For Our Winters Right Now!!!
MANY Thanks
We haven’t seen any snow in my corner of Virginia Beach, Virginia. From what I saw in your observations, I don’t see anything promising, but what do I know. I remember the 2010 storm well, loved it. I was working for four radio stations in Virginia Beach which kept me busy keeping them all on the air. I have a feeling that I currently live about five miles from you, so you remember all the good snows that I do. Of course, I am a whole lot older then you.
Given how FAST things fruited and crops coming in YES, it points to a BAD winter!!!
I hope the Raleigh area finally gets snow again after a 2+ year drought this upcoming winter
2018 was the last and it was just a few inches
You seem to bypass Texas…especially east Texas??
I agree, I think this one will be a very snowy season. In my many years of breathing, when we’re this hot in the north, the bad winters follows. I’m okay with that.
Leaves are changing a bit here already, which is super early. I’m hoping for a really good snow this winter here in the mountains of North Carolina.
People plan the picnic God makes the weather, any long range predictions are useless
Here in AZ reading the comments. Really amazed how many people look forward to the snow. Came from CO and couldnt stand the winters. With all the people flooding into AZ I thought everyone was getting tired of the snow. These comments give me hope you're all still alive and kicking! Spread the word! The south is getting trampled! Hahaha
No worries here. You can have AZ weather 😂 I want my bitter cold winter darn it 😂.
Northeast U.S. hasn't had winter in years. It's so disappointing. I am a skeptic about this prediction, but as always I'll be hoping for cold weather and a lot of snow.
if a warmer winter "proves climate change", what does a "brutally cold" winter disprove?
climate change is crap
Nothing. A warm winter does not prove climate change, despite what the media says. CC is real and human caused, but is blown way out of proportion by the media.
Still waiting on the record hurricane season
It would ask to actually see some snow in Western North Carolina something we haven’t seen in the last few years really
Oh no lgbtq weather.. it's going to be unstable..
They predict the same thing every year.
VERY KEY DIFFERENCES
Check snowfall amounts across the upper peninsula of Michigan for the winter of 23/24 and compare it to previous years.
Don't worry, we'll have a regular winter this year.
i hope we get more snow this year, last year was very uneventful in my area but the winter before was very cold and fairly snowy. i loved it
Apparently we're in some cycle and this one is warm. The scientist predict that we will eventually turn back to frigid winters.
January warm up is called Junuary here in the upper midwest.
I live in WI. Never heard that one.
Junuary 😂😂
Ha! I believe it *if* and when it happens....
It’s WINTER!!! It’s suppose to be Cold.
Apparently we're in some cycle and this one is warm. The scientist predict that we will eventually turn back to frigid winters.
regardless climate change is making things warmer across the board. cycles definitely do have an effect but we are seeing a clear observable trend that is accelerating globally.
I believe something is going to make the cycle turn colder and it will surprise most !
@@sylviakovessy it will take a while but it will happen. How many years is the question?
Ohio valley snow storm sounds fine for sure. It's been a long time.
Keep all the cold and snow
Ohio winters have been awesome the last few years.
I hope it will happen
Have had a decent snow in the DC area since Snowmageddon! 😢
So this is an almost exact match to last year's forecast in the south, and every other year before 2024.
i pray for a cold and snowy winter. the cold and snow is the best time of the year. summer sucks
@@HujiFuji right there with ya
What do you expect for Southern Vancouver Island this winter? Temps and precip?
St. Louis mo hoping for good ❄️ snow
Well its most likely not going to happen I tell u what
That’s really weird. I was just thinking about what kind of winter we’re going to have. It was either yesterday or today.
Not looking forward to this winter, it gets cold here in central Utah fast. I want it to be summer forever
Some clever forecaster guys said 2 years ago..can forget about predictions as the planet has moved past doing what she has historically. U know climate collapse. The recent extreme heat in India, elsewhere a smart science guy answered question. Is this influenced by LA Nina El Nino? He said no, that is no longer a player..no one knows the cause. Logical.
Have you taken the Wavy Jet Steam into account in these forecasts? We're in a Grand Solar Minimum with a wavy jet now,....that might change this forecast some.
Sir, please can you Tell me about North India 🇮🇳 2024_25 winter?
Hope springs eternal. Many of us really do want to see a colder and snowier fall/winter 2024/25 but the way it’s currently going-above normal temperatures and little snow are becoming a forgone conclusion for the eastern US. Somebody please tell me why high pressure seems to find a home over the eastern United States regardless of the season and then just sits there.
I don’t care what you have to do…..burn mountains of tires, idle your car 24/7…..this is not going to happen.
Live in NE Ohio, the snow belt, can’t wait for snow, have been many, many 90’s, we are not used to it, plus tornadoes, which we don’t usually get
I didn’t watch the video. I just came to ask,
Why does the thumbnail look like a pride flag?
I’m not really sure how you can even predict the weather, considering the United States military, namely the US Air Force has weather altering technology and has already stated by Janet Yellen that they hope to have control of all patterns 2025.
When will you be making an updated Fall-,winter 24-25 forecast.?
winter all across america will be an event that no one will imagine, people will freeze to death , many will not be able to afford heat, or food as the election will be the biggest factor for that, life will never be the same for many, have a great life for now, things will change rapidly come December, January, February.
Ppfffftt, bring it!! LETS DO THIS!!
I'm been preparing for this almost my whole life. It couldn't come sooner...
So a vote for Biden is a vote for the Grim Reaper?
Well, duh, we are going to have cold and snow in the winter. Any idiot could figure that out. I've seen a lot of winters. Trust me, it gets Flippin cold.
That looks like an LGBTQGFT++37gd map.
Not gonna be warm in PNW I'm also a snow lover and I live in Pacific Northwest so which pattern weather changers to bring colder and snowier weather for both PNW and East
WHAT THE F IS THIS? LGBTQXYZ COLOR MAP
Someone always needs to predict a snowy winter....someone sometime may be right. Past 5 year predictions have been way off.
I feel sorry for NY I remember how bad the weather was last year when I watched it on the news
Dont feel sorry for us. We love it
So basically Lake Tahoe is not getting any snow and we are fucked… what the fuck man
Difference between the eastern and western states...
Western states:needs snowfall for summer water supply and cold sufficient flows for trout and salmon
Eastern states:we want to play in the snow
We can only hope and we’ve heard this before
Models also predicted a wicked hurricane season in 2024.
Can cincinnati get lot snow this yres I own a business.I'm trying to figure out on.I'm if I need a by Is salt
Time will only tell . Prepare for the worse . I’ll always use up the extra firewood sometime.
You are no more accurate than the 1888 Farmers Almanac when looking out more than a few weeks.
All y’all wanting cold and snow obviously don’t live in northern Minnesota !
I doubt we will see anything here in central va..past two years it’s been mild
I watched another video yesterday that said we'd have a mild winter in the southeastern US.
Meh they always say this. I will believe when I see it. La Niña never favors Virginia
Is that rainbow of the United States saying that the whole United States is gone lgbtq
I remember that white Christmas in Spartanburg. It started in the afternoon of Christmas day. I will never forget it. Because i went to my mother-in-laws about 4 pm it started snowing before i even got there. I knew then i wasn't going to be there long. Hallelujah!!!
I lived in Corpus Christi Texas back in 2004 when it snowed 6" on Christmas. It had been 109 years since there was measurable snowfall.
I miss Spartanburg
@@ThatGuyz82 So it was 2004. I lived in Dallas until I was 19 and I remember when I was a kid on December 24th at about 1pm it started snowing. A white Christmas in Texas is so rare. That is one heck of a good memory.
Another dry winter for Texas
great! another NON winter for Texas....joy! NOT
lol, just say you have no idea what’s going to happen.
Will believe it when I see it. Upstate NY has not had a proper winter in 3 years.
So far very positive news for upstate NY snow lovers
