- I shot a handful of videos of Stone Temple Pilots performance at the Nokia Theater.
Here, in the first song of there encore, Scott brings out his son Noah to do the intro to the STP classic "Dead and Bloated" from there first album, Core.
Prayers for this young man who has lost his daddy.

Many have portrayed her as a wretched person, but she loved him that much is evident .
The intro makes me happy and sad at the same time. He was pure talent
+osito2 I feel the same way. I know that Scott had to cope with a number of things that made fatherhood a challenge but he loved his children so deeply. And though I'm sure there were some limited reasons, Mary made it so hard for Scott to see his children. The poor man hadn't been able to see them in over a year at the time of his death. And that broke his spirit and his heart.

Scott was 100% pure rock star. I love this band and have studied their progression, in videos, since the early days, right up to his last. I would have truly wished him the help to conquer the drugs. It's so sad.

I got to see them first and only time during this tour. Scott looked so good and healthy. Me and my gf at the time talked about how good it is that he is sober again. He was a genuinely good person that wore his heart on his sleeve.

Scott Weiland used to come into the Starbucks I worked at in Coronado, CA in the early 2000’s. Almost every day for like a month he would come in and sit and read the news paper and sip his coffee. He was a nice quiet humble dude. No matter how many times I saw him I was still star-struck 😂RIP! I love how damn slow they play everything live ❤

This is one of my most favorite things I have EVER seen. I remember Scott doing this in front of my face when he was not a whole lot older than Noah is in this clip. I hope the kids know what an absolutely beautiful, if tortured, soul that he really was. I know being a shite dad at times, must've been the WOST feeling he EVER had. Much love to those two. Your father was a GOD among men. It's beyond sad the demons he dealt with daily. I'm sure you two are the only things that ever truly allowed him to escape them. Maybe that's what he really couldn't deal with??

What a moment!
I'm 36 and grew up with STP. Just found an old cd and got me to looking them up and listening to them again. I've seen comments on many of there videos saying how sad people are that he's gone. He did that to himself, I'm sad about all the wonderful music the world lost, but not sad about his actions...until now. As a parent this really got to me. I hope Noah's memories of his dad are of good times like this, I really do. And I hope he doesn't suppress any talent he may have inherited because it is to painful.

sick of idiots judging..he was BIPOLAR, of which he had no choice, his mother was alcoholic and torn from his dad at 3, he had been raped at 12 so he had trauma. which affects many throughout their lives...his brother od'ed, his bf, both parents cancer, loss odf his second marriage ..he was ill and never should have been touring but he was the money train for so many around him...he attempted many times to get clean...but he had hardcore biologically based addiction...you haven't lived his life so stfu..maybe you would have done the same or worse..despite all his demons, he was a gentle person and never hurt anyone
