I've heard that the down acting solenoid doesn't have a check valve, if you added one do you think this system could run two independent cylinders? I need to raise and lower the front and rear of a cart separately. Gravity down would be my preference.
I just got mine ordered. The current cylinder on my tilt bed is gravity down, so I may have to change it out for one that accommodates a power down pump? I'm looking forward to getting it installed nonetheless :)
Took a hydraulic fitting and fill the inside will weld and then drilled the smallest hole with the smallest bit I had. Like less that a 16of and inch and it worked they do make flow restrictor you can by at tsc or any hydraulic store but they are like $30
Buonasera è possibile avere uno schema di collegamento idraulico di questa pompa magari per collegare un pistone a doppio effetto la ringrazio anticipatamente
2300psi was factory read out on mine, dead head. Gpm no idea but I would say 2-3 gpm if not more and you can adjust the psi higher if you like maybe tops 3500psi
@@HighOctane101 cool I just bought one Im going to try to see if it will have enough ass to break the nuts loose on some caterpillar cylinders basically a remedial nut buster

I'm looking at the Red Lion cylinders from Trausch in GI. Revamping my manual cylinder looks to be a PIA. My Vevor arrived the other day, saWEET!!

Harvest King fluid, they sell that at Bomgaars. Waving a hand from Norfolk!! Small world!
Yep, got it at Bomgaars in C town

I would go with power down for sure it is very nice if loading something on back of trailer and suck it down
Great video and installation man! Does the unit come with the extended arm that lifts the bed?
Nope I had that hydraulic cylinder already
Thank you my man. You just answered many questions. Thanks
No problem
Great video how did you slow down when you are lowering it ??

thank you very much man, this video is really helpfull since im gonna buy one of this.
You’re welcome
which hydraulic cylinder did you use on your trailer. mine looks exactly like yours. i would like to buy the same set up. thank you
1.5 inch rod diameter and bore was 2.5” and stroke 24”. Pretty sure on this, trailer not at my place or I would go look.
@@HighOctane101 thank you
did yours come with M18*1.5 connector ? what hydraulic lines did you buy for it? Mine came with an additional sae6 connector. Thanks!
I check, I know it came with two extra fittings and not sure what I all used. Been awhile

What size battery do you run? And how often do you need to charge it ?
I use a deep cycle marine, probably overkill but I have a wench to run also. I put trickle charger on once a month. Plan on solar charger sometime
Can i build a small dump trailer with this hydraulic pump and cylinder?
Yes it would work well in that application
And will hydraulic cylinders they sell on Amazon from Magister Hydraulics work? Thanks for the reply
@@jbammorales5858 yes you just have to pick a cylinder that will work for your application
Awesome, I'll be working on it then, thank you
How has it held up?
Works like a champ yet
Why you need double acting , by gravity it comes down forced retracting not needed
I already had the double acting cylinder, yeah single acting would work just fine
@@HighOctane101 double acting cylinder can be used as single acting by using lower port only
What is the GPM and min to max psi

Probably could have used the single acting power unit
Yes, I did want power down in case I have a back loaded load. Already had that came in handy, thanks for comment
@@HighOctane101 got it did you end up putting a flow control or needle valve in line to adjust speed
Yes I did a 1/16” restrictor and a needle valve to lock the cylinder if I carried a load on end of trailer. It works perfectly

@@Paniro02 nice, also the relief psi is adjustable too. I have seen over 2000 psi on gauge
