Her English is amazing!
The Nordic countries (Sweden included) are known for being good English speakers, but even we have dialects.
My hat's off to you, you beautiful Serbian girl.
The most important one is "eo", whenever someone asks you on the street how are you, what's up,etc... just answer with "eo".
hahhahha, exactly!
What does “eo” mean though?
Luke Groundwalker I believe it is clear that the answer is as if it is: here [I am] i.e. healthy and sane:) as you can see:)
Is it literally pronounced "ee oh" or more of an "eh oh"? Just wanna get it right and not sound like an idiot 😅
@@desvexel840 it is eh oh - if it was ee oh it would be spelt io (as the letter e is pronounced Ey, the letter i is pronounced Ee - and A is Ah)
I love you Moje. I love Serbian. From Malta :)
I used to speak Serbian when I was younger and I completely lost everything these past few years and I’m trying to improve so I can surprise my parents when I eavesdrop into their conversation. ;)
Same. Other languages took over 😭
I just started learning Serbian few days ago and it’s really fascinating. Just subscribed 😅
Thanks! Good luck!
Very cool : ) Totally natural and easy to follow. I’m spending a week in Belgrade and this was the most useful video of this kind I found so far. Keep up the good work ✌️

@@MojeBlu I will when I find out!
HAHA SAME, my mom and grandparents never taught me so I finally decided to learn myself so I can surprise them:)
A question, how much have you learned and how long has it taken you?
@@juliacarlsson4426 I really started like a year ago, but it’s super fast to pick up!!
Nice. I am trying to learn and you have a way of explaining things in a fun and easy way. Thanks!

This is great. Keep the lessons coming. I am actually English but I live Serbia was baptised last year and I am looking to build business there. :)
Really? That sounds exciting! Keep us updated!
@@MojeBlu will do. I will be doing seminars in Loznica and raising money for charity. Just waiting for covid to allow me to do so.
I was recently asked to record a video in support of an organisation raising awareness of planned lithium mining that will affect Loznica and krupanj. :)
I was surprised and honoured that it was so well received.
Forgive me... I am of course quite passionate about Serbia🙈🤣... of course, I need to spend more time on the language!! 🙏
Zdravo to all my beautiful serbian people i am Mexican American but Serbians have become some of my greatest friends though out my life.

I'll keep these few words in mind when I travel to Serbia next week. I'm very excited, thank you for the lesson! :-)
You're going to Serbia?? I wish I could go :'( Have fun for me as well :)
@@MojeBlu Hvala :) I thought you were living there. I’m going to Belgrade, Novi Sad and Niš :)
@@fashiondream No, currently I'm in Germany, but as soon as I am able to travel, I will visit my family in Vojvodina :)
You should have also mentioned: Pomaze Bog! Bog ti pomogao/vam pomogao :D
Quite a standard saying here in Vojvodina, and it comes from the soutern part of Serbia, but it is quite used across the whole country. The roots are religious, Christian, but I do believe they go way back in our history... back to the olden Slavs, Celts, "Iliri" and so on... even Russians still today use the sentence: Bog sa nami, or Bog sa vami (God be with us, or God be with you) Now there's a fun fact for everyone who want's to know more about Serbians, or Balkan people in general ;)
Imagine a serbian teacher on private class:
Yee, just learn word može and you're good to go _i onda samo ode sa stolice_
been here for a month wish I saw this earlier!
hvala
Nema na čemu!
well done
Zdravo from India.🙏
Hi could you please do a video about basic and useful Serbian words at the Dental office :) I get so many Serbian patients!! I would love to communicate-give some instructions- and describe procedures in Serbian .
Thanks :D
In ukrainian we say almost the same:
Zdorov / Здоров Health to you/ hello
Dobre / Добре Good
Mozhe / Може Maybe
Bud' zdorov/ Будь здоров Bless you
Diakuyu / Дякую Thank you
Very good lesson. It would’ve been helpful if you had left the script of the words on the screen longer to give us a chance to write it them down. Ron in Annapolis Maryland.
Zdarvo kako ste lepa moja
Molim in Slovenian is Prosim. You could use Prosim for a million different responses; Hello, Goodbye, thank you, what, sure, you welcome, etc!! It just depends on how you pronounce it.
Molim in Serbian & Bosnian I suspect is very similar. Its a good word to learn for a foreigner. Def. thumbs up for tourists crossing local borders ;)
That is true! 'Molim' can be used in many different ways! Good to know about 'prosim' when I visit Slovenia again ;)
@@MojeBlu You speak English as if you come from the Maritimes (in Canada). I can usually tell when someone had an 'enlightened' education in a posh school! No wonder you can afford a 'part time' PhD...!!
@@orlandoburgess4858 Interesting, people usually tell me that my accent is more LA/California. I don't know, I just learned it from what I was given on TV :) I wish I went to a posh school! But nowadays you can learn almost everything online :)
This is funny and cool to me because in Serbia prosim means begging for money on the street
learning serbian for one of my friends hhhhh but it's going good so far
I want to learn some words in serbian because i want to visit the village my great great grandfather left 120 years ago
Your English is very good. Imate blagi akcenat koji bi mi odmah rekao da ste Srbin. But that is something only a Serbian American would pick up. Love your video since I'm looking for some videos for some friends to learn some Serbian. Hvala i Cao.
People can usually notice the accent, but cannot pinpoint where exactly I'm from :) Nema na čemu! Pozdrav
@@MojeBlu Šta studiraš? Samo sam znatiželjan.
@@psu2dcu Krenula sam sa engleskim, a sad se više bavim opštom lingvistikom :)
@@MojeBlu Sretno sa postdiplomskom školom. Dve godine kao MBA sa punim radnim vremenom bile su mi dovoljne, umorite se od života bez novca.
We love Serbia !! ......not sure why though..? There's something about Serbs.
i found that i came across 'moze' more than any other word while spending time in BiH however never in Hrvatska.
Interesting! What would you hear often in Croatia? :)
nothing! just general "mmhm" sounds but nothing that i can recall other than that.
bre

My friend vlad would love it if i came over and said good morning in serbian haha.
Just tell him 'Dobro jutro Vlado' :)
moje blu namste to you. i want to learn serbian language...i love this language..so please help me...
I wonder where the word kmuša came from.
Use Google Translator if you need translation. In Serbia most people speak English.
How do u say excuse me??
Izvini or oprosti😊
Molim is pardon me ????
Ti si lepa! Can I make you the best sarma??
You never taught us how to say "Hell yeah!" How do you say that na srpskom?
Give me a context and I'll do it :)
@@MojeBlu If someone said "Hey lets go to the movies tomorrow" and you said "Hell yeah, let's go" or something like that
@@NotSean666 I have to be honest, I can't remember of any close equivalent right now, maybe someone else can help :D I would probably just say 'može', 'idemo', 'super ideja' or something like that.
Hell yeah on serbian dodjavola da
To me, you sound like you could be from the US. You're not the only one I've seen this with. Why is that?
Being exposed to media from the US (channels, movies, songs) since I was little helped me :)
things have gender?
yep! It's called grammatical gender and it can be masculine, feminine and neuter :)
@@MojeBlu puno hvala
Samo da znam sta je razlika između č i ć i dj i đ , posle mogu da kazem da sam iz srbije 😂
:DDDD Istina!
@@MojeBlu ova godina resim da se selim u srbiji i verovatno cu da odkrijem ta razlika
