To be honest, while I understand everyone’s side of the story I always sided with Tim because he was still doing his part to defend Emile and will always be a damn good friend for doing it. I also know that despite everything Emile is still a good-hearted guy and I still watch back old TRG videos and his own stuff because I still genuinely enjoy them and still support him no matter what. People honestly need to learn to separate the art from the artist

First there was the Completionist charity debacle, then almost as soon as that was concluded, the Emile controversy was immediately thrusted online like a sack of potatoes. Both of these people were really close friends with Jon, and he got punched in the guts and nuts twice in a row.

I am amazed emile is willing for an online showing this early since all the drama, I was 100% thinking he would want to be radio silent for a good while, probably rest of the year, but It's nice seeing him doing fine, and able to emote and be active. I know this doesn't mean anything concrete for future projects with emile(Him uploading on his channel, or runaway guys returning.) But I do hope this doesn't stop him from returning in full force one day. If your reading this Emile, It's awful what happened to you, and how everyone blew a bunch of other stuff, and being dammingly vague about events, just ended up being a giant nothing burger. I have a feeling this was kind of to test the waters. @@King_Luigi Not really. GAA1 and 2 tell a story across two games where each feels incomplete without the other. Investigations 1 and 2 tell completely different stories with some of the same characters.

I am amazed emile is willing for an online showing this early since all the drama, I was 100% thinking he would want to be radio silent for a good while, probably rest of the year, but It's nice seeing him doing fine, and able to emote and be active. I know this doesn't mean anything concrete for future projects with emile(Him uploading on his channel, or runaway guys returning.) But I do hope this doesn't stop him from returning in full force one day. If your reading this Emile, It's awful what happened to you, and how everyone blew a bunch of other stuff, and being dammingly vague about events, just ended up being a giant nothing burger. Hang in their man, I hope you are doing better every day.
I have a feeling this was kind of to test the waters. It's up to Emile if he wants to go forward with being back in the public eye, if he wants to stick with just cameoing for a while, or if he decides he doesn't like the attention. I do hope he comes back, but I think "caution" is the important word in "cautious optimism" here.

He's been showing up at some conventions just as a casual enjoyer of them, not participating as Chuggaaconroy, and he seems to have gotten much better. I really hope he comes back someday, even if that day is 5 years from now. As someone who struggles with the exact same things that Emile struggles with, it's just so awful to be falsely vilified for being yourself.

It has been an absolute joy to see Emile popping off to the Nintendo Direct that I only recently was able to get caught up on du to work. Be it as it may, I'm just so hapy to see that Emile and Tim are still thick as thieves and seemingly doing well here. I hope that you and your friend group are getting the support that you need, and that I will always be a long standing fan even if I'm not always visible. I've been feeling down for the past few months, due to mainly burning out from work and personal stuff, but seeing Emile laughing and shouting to this direct has brought me an immense feeling of relief. I'm so happy to see you're doing okay Emile!
Emile, the first ever let's play i watched of yours was super mario sunshine when i was around 11 years old. I'm 26 now and i still to this day go straight to your lets plays for when ever i'm feeling down and need a pick me up. I can't tell you how many times i've rewatched sunshine and majoras mask. Your videos bring me so much comfort and made me not feel weird for liking nintendo games to the weird extent that i do haha. (my entire fam always made me feel self conscious about it). I would love to see you back on UA-cam one day but for real your health comes first! Even if one day you decide to leave youtube for good just knowing you're doing well and surviving this hellish world brings me enough peace. do what you gotta do for you but know we all miss you and will support you no matter what you choose!
