Okay that makes sense because the b+1 now it's a little lower for a high attack which means it's stuffs any high crushing attack it seems. I notice I was able to shut down hell sweeps from all Mishima's and Bryan's CD~ws+1 when I was playing up against my local homies but they didn't question in it while I did and this makes sense. So basically going forward if someone's trying to snipe you with a while standing attack or certain high Crush attacks you can fish a counter hit going forward

I have been msging Murry suggesting and pleading with him to reach out to Jackie Chan to see if they can get him on-board to use his likeness, voice and MAYBE choreograph some moves. I stated to him, that we lost Bruce, but we STILL have Jackie with us....Reach out to him and see if it's possible. I'm sure the community even those who aren't fans of Lei, would LOVE to see something like this. He'll, Mortal Kombat finally got Van Damme to agree to do this with Johnny Kage after all.
Steve takes work period! Steve is advanced. Steve isn’t easy to use like Devil Jin. Steve needed a buff. His B1 is somewhat of his Tekken 5 glory days. If you use Steve use the spin move to cut distance of your opponent. Learn move placement because Steve isn’t a combo character like that . Don’t just slam B1 like an idiot. Have some intentionality behind it. Read your opponent and use B1 to decapitate them. See you in the ring. I’m debating on PS5 Pro yuck lol.
Shin I’m going to show some more technique because you respect my words ! Here we go … continuation of the spin move. Regular 3+4 is great or can shorten distance by like a range and a half. But what about U3+4 or D3+4? Many Steve players do not utilize this move . When is the best time to use U/D 3+4? When the opponent is coming towards you , when the opponent is lying down , or when the opponent has thrown a medium to large attack. When the move is executed properly you will through the opponent off axis and you can attack. When the opponent is off axis you can immediately go into Dempsey stance . You can do F2,3 or D2 from Dempsey stance . I don’t know what moves Steve has in T8 but improvise and Practice. To maximize any version of the spin you have to read the opponent. And for the love of God do NOT roll toward the opponent. Roll away to throw him off to gain the off axis advantage. The reason why I say spin after knock down because that’s free damage when the opponent tries to ukemi you ! Off axis bam!!!! Just practice and learn to read the opponent. Namu!! 🙏
