What I love SO MUCH about you is that despite the fact you have so much clothing, you remember the details of each piece - when you got it, when you last wore it, what the brand is without even checking, etc. You treat every thing you own as something very special and it really inspires me to do the same! I need a part 2 and 3 and 4 please 🙃❤️
As long as you keep competing with yourself (and not others), that’s a healthier way of assessing your improvements

Victoria as I grew older and acquired more quality clothing, my “not so quality” pieces really stood out. It helped me realize where my money is best spent. I had a huge closet clean out this past fall. I got rid of about 10 huge contractor bags full of clothes! I also lost 90 lbs which helped me with many decisions. Now I have a clear picture of what I have and what would be lovely to add. Thankyou for showing all your gorgeous pieces. Such a treat and an inspiration for me❤️👗
Once again, normally not a big fan of these as I very often fell uncomfortable watching how much people have clothes they’ve never worn or with the tag still on .... but I really appreciated watching this one from you, as I was genuinely recognising the pieces you wear on a regular basis through the entire video, and could really feel how much you cherish every single piece of your closet, even the one you are getting rid of ! It’s incredible how genuine you are in each videos I love love love your content ! xx

Victoria - with the new year, I have been talking about clearing out my wardrobe, drawers, cupboards and lots of other nooks and crannies of my flat but because of lockdown, I have been feeling so unmotivated and lethargic. This video has inspired me to get cracking tomorrow whilst on annual leave and make use of this time! This video was fate to get me moving and tidy my space = tidy my mind! Thankyou so much. I find clothing declutter videos so satisfying! It nearly makes me believe that I decluttered my closet as well (even though I haven’t but definitely should!)
I don't know if this is the case in the UK, but in The Netherlands, where I live, you can throw all of your clothes/cloths/old sheets etc. in a clothing bin. Everything is sorted out and things that are broken/otherwise unsellable can sometimes still be used for their fibres. Might still be better than throwing things in the bin. And yes, I'm up for a part two!
I’d love a part 2 💕 I love watching these videos and could probably do it for hours. It strange because having that much stuff would make me so stressed but seeing other peoples wardrobes like that is so interesting to me 😅 whenever I buy anything (except like basic underwear) no matter the price I ask myself if I can think of 5 times/outfits I would wear it. 5 occasions if it’s more of a special piece, 5 outfits if it’s more day to day clothing. This really helps me make sure everything I buy isn’t going to sit there collecting dust ☺️ I love these videos though ❤️❤️

Also, I really love that you take the time to show us the pieces and not only put the whole video on time-lapse and show us the end result. Whenever I see a video about clearing out,I’m totally down for it and I dont understand why people find it so tiring and boring to clear out. I often clear out my friends wardrobes just for fun 😅

I keep a stain-treatment stick in my wardrobe and treat stains right away when I take things off. They’re much more likely to come out in the wash this way. I also have a not-loved, dark-colored silk scarf that I put over my head for putting clothes on and off, it helps a lot.

Of course you can keep one knit for sentimental reasons 🥰! Your children would love to wear your special pink jumper! It will be such a sweet and precious classic piece for them to cozy up in and say “my mom wore this the day she got proposed to by my dad🥰”!

Victoria I would thoroughly enjoy to see a part two. Also, a trick for narrow clothing try to use the velvet kids hangers. The kids hangers are great for shirts and even trousers. 🧥
It's a definite YES to Part 2!! I did a purge while packing up my condo recently, was able to donate some clothes and shoes to a local charity shop which felt great.
Yes, Victoria, you inspired me to clean my wardrobe now but I have way too many finals and I'm sure that I'll find sorting my clothes more interesting so maybe I'll rewatch this in a month HAHAHA

You can get simple wire slide-on shelf dividers to keep those stacks neater, or some baskets or bins. I can be never control items on a wide shelf, they always get jumbled.

You can get some really great acrylic shelf dividers that help keep piles neat and tidy and basically blend in with your closet which are super useful

👗 Yes to part 2!! Just a personal opinion, but I don’t think all the hangers need to match. I think different hangers tell different stories, which are more interesting than a ‘perfect’ matching aesthetic x

I find that I function best when everything in my wardrobe is clean, pressed/steamed, polished (shoes, jewelry) and ready-to-wear. Do you have room for a portable garment rack/rail? Then, you could wash and iron all your trousers, use clip-style skirt-trouser hangers to hang them full-length, so they would always be ready-to-wear (I hang the ironed-in-crease ones flat and “sideways” as they are ironed, from the hems). That would give you room to hang your bodies and tees, making it so much easier to see what you have, and you could use the shelf for bags or boots. I went to black velvet hangers, for all lightweight items, because they match better than colors, which always vary a lot. I also use sturdy, but slimmer, plastic suit hangers for jackets, and padded hangers for knits. In my climate, wooly sweaters are only needed about four months per year, so I store mine (washed, blocked and dried), folded with tissue and cedar balls (not touching them) in muslin zippered bags the rest of the year. They recover any minor stretching while resting in storage. I then just give them a quick steam when it’s time to wear them again.
All I can advice about the hangers is you can get kid hangers instead of adult size ones, velvet ones you can find in amazon easily. Hope it helps and your beautiful clothes stay organized and unharmed :)

I never liked body suit and how they feel. I have a long body so i always end having my chest flattened and the string up my you know what and especially when I sit. Victoria i love that you are not afraid to show us how it is and how real you are. I now fold everything the Marie Condo modified my style ish kinda way and i can fit so much in my dresser.

I loooove your style and your closet!! Suggestion, I read that you should put the same type of clothes/things together so you don’t forget what/how much you have. Maybe putting all your sweaters in one closet instead of two might help you get more use out of your them? I noticed that the sweaters you pulled from the second closet seems to get less wear even though they are equally beautiful :)
