I just started following you, mostly because of this series, and I'll be honest I'm just impressed by how well you talk with everyone. Temperament aside, it's really obviously a skill you've cultivated and it makes your videos interesting and a joy to watch.

So glad you tried your best, as I have a similar story. I tried to get into one of the biggest fashion events here in Serbia by going into modeling agencies and applying to be a model for them. They ALL rejected me HARD. But by miracle I jokingly mentioned that I wanted to be model to my superior (I'm a business managment student) and she invited me to go to the exactly the same event. She was a reaccuring customer to one brand and we sat in like the second row behind all the celebrities! I have a yt video of it on my channel and its in serbian unfortunately but if you are interested how the show looked like give it a view

You're gorgeous!! Just a bit...you barely asked, "What are your after plans?" or, "How do I get an invite into this (fill in the blank) show" or maybe... "What show are you most excited for?" & then follow up with " Wow! Sounds awesome- how do I attend?!" .... You went over outfits which was fun, but it's an easy way to start the conversation during NY Fashion week! You can take that conversation and ask about shopping habits. A lot of people seemed friendly and even familiar but you didn't use that connection to get invited to more shows!
