How I built Gipsy Danger From Pacific Rim In A Stormy Ocean

- I really loved the design of the Gipsy Danger and wanted to recreate the scene when it saves the trawler from the Kaiju in the opening of Pacific Rim.
A movie from the master film maker, Guillermo del Toro.

Your execution is matched by your prep work. Excellent job mate.
Thank you
Super nice but Gypsy is suppose to have like a yellow head light
During the build I had seen reference material that has had yellow, orange and red variations. Thanks for watching
Incredible build. Fantastic job with the LEDs and the paint work. Love the ocean effect. 👍👍
I have a suggestion for a build (if you don't mind).
A Ma. K (Maschinen Krieger) power armor with pilot, but in a medieval/fantasy setting.
Accidentally travelled through time through a strange natural portal.
Wonderful build.
Be Excellent and Party on. 🤘😎🎸
That's a pretty cool idea
Thank you. I'm glad you like it.
You are a wonderful builder, and I'm looking forward to more of your episodes.
Be Excellent and Party on. 🤘😎🎸

How reliable do you think getting the colour scheme accurate from a TV is and why did they spell Gypsy (Gipsy) that way?
Can't answer on the colorscheme, but as regards to the Lady, it's because the WWII Aircraft Engine from which she takes her name, the de Havilland Gipsy, designed by Frank Halford, rather than ethnic slur for the Romani people. It's why nine out of ten, fans refer to the Jaeger either *as* the Lady, Lady Danger, de Havilland Danger, or just straight up Danger. Even in the film Stacker Pentecost's final reference to said Jaeger is "Clear a path for the Lady." Context matters.
@@diego2112gaming I had never heard of that reference. It's great to know from where things like this originate. Thanks for watching
@@ScaleModelGeek Yup! I'm a *huge* fan of Pacific Rim (top 5 movie), scale modeling, 3D printing, and working with resin--so when I saw this pop in my feed it was a "must watch." Only real downside is I'm a bit colorblind, so I as I said, I can't really answer on the colors >.
@@diego2112gaming 3D printing was a huge game changer for me.
Where did you get the 3d file?
