Shear Wave Measurement (SWM) is Fujifilm's quantitative ultrasound elastography technology that assesses tissue stiffness by creating a shear wave, and then measuring the velocity of the wave (Vs) as it propagates through tissue. The ratio of effective values after error-processing of multiple Vs is then displayed as a reliability indicator on the measurement result (VsN) which helps clinicians to give an objective evaluation for a more accurate diagnosis.
