Greetings from Northfield, Minnesota! This video helped to solidify my argument for a paper I had written on "Lanval" during interim. This lecture is phenomenal and eloquently articulated. Thank you for uploading!

hi, if you don't mind sharing, what are some good articles you've read about lanval?

I haven't based my reading on any particular studies of "Lanval" itself. I've reviewed several, but none have any controlling effect on my reading as far as I can tell. I have done some significant reading of the cultural conditions of the late Medieval Ages in Europe. Check out Umberto Eco's "Art and Beauty in the Middle Ages;" Barbara Tuchman's "A Distant Mirror;" "Medieval People" by Eileen Power;" RW Southern's "The Middle Ages;" Erich Auerbach's "Literary Language and its Public;" and "The Waning of the Middle Ages" by Johan Huizinga.
