  • I felt like I was going to be waiting forever to get this old 4 speed back together! But it’s finally done and, other than waiting for parts, it went relatively well. If I learned one thing through this process, it was to ALWAYS thoroughly check which parts may need replacing before going ahead and placing an order at the parts shop 😅
And, anyone who want's to send me pictures of their bikes, you can email me at:
    redrider.canada.bc@gmail.com
    PLEASE SEND LARGE CLEAR PHOTOS!
1080p x 1080p is the MINIMUM we can work with, so please do your best at making sure your photos are large and not blurry 🙂 And send more than one if you can as well!
Only motorcycle related emails please - sorry, but I just don't have the time to engage in personal conversations.
    Thank you for your understanding.
If you DON'T want your bike highlighted in a future video showing viewers bikes then make sure to mention it in your email. Other than that, expect to see your bike in one of my videos!
If you would like my PO BOX address you can find it in the description to my channel by following this link:

I am impressed by your work on the gearbox, everything assembled properly, and to spec. That transmission should now last a long time, a thing of beauty to behold!

I’m in awe with your adaptivity with using basic materials for pressing on bearings. No need for expensive tools for one time use. I just learned how to use copper plumbing pieces to install the c clip on my piston wrist pin ends. Adapt and overcome. Patience is the most important skill when performing close tolerance jobs. Thank you for sharing!

Hi 👋, Angel, that was a great job, checking through each stage of the preparation before assembly, is the right way to go about it, You check and doublecheck, great job, the only Time you want to start worrying is when you start having nightmares, thinking you have put things in backwards or you have left things out, 😂, and as they say practice makes perfect, 😂, I have rebuilt two gearboxes many many years ago one triumph, Bonneville, and the other one was a Norton dominator, And if I remember rightly ha ha, they took me two or three weekends,
Great job Angel, hopefully somebody will send you some lovely gloves, the right size, 😂

@@RedRiderCanadaBC I have heard that wheel through time sometimes have waited years for parts to come along,
A friend back in the uk purpose goes to swap meets and buys up parts for old Norton and old BSA, Because he knows at some point that he will need them, or he will know somebody that does, in his area, there is a load of people that ride vintage bikes,
Somebody that we know through another friend sold a bike about two years ago. I think it went to Sotherby London auction house and fetched over £200,000 , I can’t remember the model of it,

You may wish to look into the DJI Cameras in the future. From what I understand from others videos the GoPro has at least 12 flaw’s when attempting to run and they have all been there from the very first GoPro Camera to the present one. The DJI Camera on the other hand has 2 flaws if you wish to call them that, 1) $100.00 cheaper American and the 2) is you loose all the GoPro faults. I hope this information is helpful to you.

I do admire your calm spirit when working with those measurements. I bet you did well in math in school!
