This was just lovely. These long videos are like taking a design class each time. So grateful for this channel and the homeowners who are so generous with their time.
Too long
The drapes in the living room are everything. So happy when people are able to respect and incorporate something that came with the house. Also, really like it when people love/use items inherited from family. It makes the home so much more special and not "designed."
Absolutely loved it. Perfect harmony of traditional and fresh. I also loved that she never said anything bad about the previous owner's decorating choices and merely loved the bones of the house and made it personal to her. Well done!
This is the most beautiful home! I love that she is so traditional and repurposed items from her childhood home!! Just beautiful!!!
Gorgeous house 🎉
Love how she describes her house, gives us tons of tips, with her calm, grace and humble (She may be rich still she doesn’t have that rich attitude) attitude. She is none stop explaining her huge house though did it perfectly ❤. From 🇯🇵thank you to her and to homeworthy ❤
I keep coming back to this home. My favorite of any so far. It's an exquisite home without being a museum! Speaks to me on so many levels!
It’s amazing that there are ppl that live like this I love dreaming as I watch these videos it’s so fun!
Absolutely beautiful. 😍💕. Now this is a home which includes all the loved, cherished, collected, inherited, gifted, new and old, that bring out the families unique style. They deserve such a beautiful restored home because they love it and live in it to the fullest extent.
This is what I was trying to explain in one of the previous videos, where an apartment looked cold and lacked colours. It did not have anything in it that showed the personality of the owners and felt cold.
What a lovely lady who loves life, her family, her beautiful collections, doggie and home.
Thanks for sharing. 💖🏡💝
So glad the videos are long( I know most youtubers are afraid of that, and have 5 minutes interior design videos which end the moment they start),so we can see the whole house, as all the houses presented are just gorgeous!
Breathtaking! Although, I can't imagine maintaining such a home, I certainly admire those who can. I love that a home was saved from potentially being torn down and turned it into such a lovely home.
This tour was a treat! Thank you!
I love that she has her father’s desk. How beautiful. Didn’t get too big for her britches. I also love that she wasn’t afraid to re-paint Chippendale mirrors, she made them right for her space. Far better to get use out of something than have it sit in the attic!
wow😮
That's a travesty to paint the Chippendale furniture. Painting it white makes it look like a big box store purchase. Better to sell it at an antique shop for someone who can appreciate it.
@@mtngrl5859 Well, we don’t know that she wasn’t referring to “the Chippendale mirrors” as being their design - rather than that these items were made by a master craftsman in the Chippendale period.
The mirrors may be old and vintage, but not necessarily priceless antiques that she was recklessly destroying the integrity of.
@@jenniferlynn3537regardless, she basically reduced a nice antique to the level of a cheap resin repro.
Well personally I was horrified that she destroyed several Chippendale mirrors, and further that she seemed quite proud of it.
She gave the most informative tour in the most unpretentious and authentic voice. I especially loved all of her nods to incorporating meaningful family pieces in her home.
Especially when she said “foy-YER” rather than “foy-YAY.”😊
That’s good to hear. I’m just starting the video. I can’t tell you how many homeworthy videos I can only get through a few minutes of because of the affected voice of the owner. Straining for obscure words when a more common word would do. If I really love the house, I’ll watch some videos on mute.
@@Poole2gether I agree. I stop watching as soon as I hear one of them say “juxtaposition” or some other pretentious word.
@@dov111 What word would you use in place of juxtaposition??? It’s quite specifically descriptive of the interplay between two items.
Best tour yet in my opinion but probably because I love her style! Beautiful and traditional yet comfortable and approachable. Thank you for bringing this home to us and to her for sharing it.
I just love when you upload these videos they bring me so much joy. Which we can have it twice or three times a week
THANK YOU HOMEWORTHY, THANK YOU COURTNEY. This is spectacular and full of inspiring ideas. WHAT A TREAT!
This home is so wonderful. I love your collections and the use of sentimental family pieces. Thank you for saving this home and breathing light and life back into it.
Goodness she has a lot of stuff! Lots to maintain but she obviously loves this lifestyle and is devoted to her home and collections. Lovely details, lovely home - really loved the pattern and color.
She doesn’t have to maintain that stuff! Of course she has a weekly housekeeper, with a house like that she no doubt can afford a housekeeper, gardener, pool man ext… don’t think this woman is actually laboring in her home, No!
@@carla5830 Absolutely agree. I live in Dallas and know people with home half this size that use housekeepers. It's actually not that expensive depending on how dirty your home is.
@@carla5830 I believe people use the word “maintain” differently. For some, it means “to keep in good shape” - i.e. assuming responsibility for the upkeep. The homeowner works and pays someone to dust, wash the mirrors and window and so forth. She is maintaining the home and the items in it.
When people say a home isn’t maintained - there are leaks and the gutters are falling down and so forth - we wouldn’t necessarily expect the homeowner to do roof repairs, but rather to hire someone who specializes in that work.
YAS! I am loving the longer videos. Her green room is SO HAPPY & fabulous! Her color pairings are splendid! 💗
I love how you breathed New life into an old soul! What a beautiful testimonial in how one can have a vision and bring it to fruition in such a beautiful, classic, yet with modern sensibilities. Thank you sharing and inspiring others with your great taste and warm graciousness!
This is so fun. She's down to earth. The fun dishes, the bird glasses... . It's formal yet playful and cheeky. I really like the glossy white ceiling.
Lovely home and decor. It truly reflects her beauty. Lots of references to her mom and grand mother made this video even more heart warming. 10 stars!
What a wonderful wonderful tour!!!
You invite the viewers in, as if we were your special guests and close community neighbors. Thank you for such a bright and warm experience. Enjoy your home!!!
A beautiful home and hostess. I learn a lot from these longer videos that feature these beautiful classic homes. I can incorporate design ideas into my own simple home. I love the quirky apartment videos too.
STUNNING HOME!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE how she uses items from her family in her design!!! ITS SO GREAT to have a story for the things we surround ourselves with! The brocade drapes are to die for!!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!!!!
One of the most beautiful house ever seen!!
ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS HOME...
Love that they saved the charming details of the original build, yet incorporated new, fun colors, with simple patterns and textures!!! Great ideas, lovely home!!!
THIS is my favorite house you've shown thus far. It's not gawdy or overly layered. It's fresh and clean. No chaos or confusion, just crisp and extraordinary!!
Glad she was able to use the living room draperies. So lovely!
Nice to see a home with color these days! Beautiful!
Just love all your videos from short to long, you let the homeowner dictate the length of the tour by their love, enthusiasm and joy in their decorating. This woman is obviously very wealthy, but so warm and unpretentious, love her connection to her heritage and family-that’s what it is all about!!
Absolutely one of the most beautiful interiors. Love love love every square inch of this lovely home. Beautifully furnished and decorated.
OMG!!!!! gorgeous home, amazing decor, loved every bit of the tour,,,,, i m speechless,,,,,TY
The entire house is filled with beautiful curated objects to die for. The sun room was particularly inspiring with the lattice covered walls. So lite and airy. The living room is my favorite. I am still drooling over the stunning cream and brown botanical curtain panels. The hot pink chairs are a perfect accent.
Fantastic, the mirrors add so much light to this home
This house is so gorgeous. Glamour and comfy.
I thoroughly enjoyed everything about this tour! Your home is simply beautiful. I appreciate your thoughtful incorporation of your parents furniture. Outstanding job!
This house is really gorgeous, glamorous and the lady is lovely! I enjoy how she talks about the previous owners so respectfully. Great tour. ❤
PS. Louie is adorable. He needs more screen time!
Did anyone else see that dog wink at the camera?!?! A UA-cam first!!!😉
A truly gorgeous home ! I love the fabrics and she loves moss green and velvet, like I do....really stunning !
This home is stunning! Each room is as beautiful as the one before. Best video so far and a tribute to her love of her family. 🤗🤗
Aw, what a treat it is to see this magnificent vintage home and all the beautiful things in it. I'm in awe of how exquisitely decorated it is and how creative and talented the lovely owner Coutney is. How wonderful of her to share her too gorgeous not to share home with Homeworthy. Thank you so much for the pleasure. Now I'm going to watch it again.
High end home. I like how she combines the old and the new.
So, so beautiful! A delight to watch. Thanks for sharing, Courtney. Best Wishes to you and family.
Another great episode homeworthy. Thank you for each and every episode. Fabulous home and those drapes unbelievably beautiful. Smart cleaning and restoring them. Great jumping off point.
It’s not my style of furniture and decor but I watched it all and have to admit it’s a very beautiful home. Amazing hostess and camerawork! This channel is really great, keep it up.
Stunning home ! Love all the repurposed furniture from her childhood! So inspiring!
Gorgeous home! Love the light and airy feel, and the use of her mom and grandmother’s things to create a wonderful warm vibe!🌷
Thank you for the tour of your beautiful home. I realized the white is really your look and your stove was really a jewel! It was kind that you took the time to share your personal items that you love and especially your Mother’s possessions. Thanks!
She took everything in my head and put it in her house! Loved EVERYTHING.
Love traditional interiors. Beautiful home. Every room is special.
A girl after my own hart with all her animals- birds, monkeys, elephants and frogs. Love her use of color and patterns. Wonderful tour!,
Absolutely stunning. I didn't want the tour to end.
Just watched the Potted Boxwood tour of this property. I just LOVE this home and thank you for this updated video. It's wonderful to hear the story of the owner and the story behind many of the details.
Such a beautiful home.. I would absolutely love to one day have a room with the lattice work trellis on the walls, the sun room is gorgeous!
Of all the episodes I've seen, this is my favorite so far.
I just love your channel.
me too😍
I had a fear of using too many mirrors! I'm certainly over it now after seeing her gorgeous home and fantastic use of mirrors. Especially the layering!
Twelve mirrors in my 1500 sq. ft. Cape Cod cottage! They really do brighten a room both day and night. They date from about 1720 to 1900.
French vibe
I’m with you, Kate. I feel as though I gravitate towards mirrors. I particularly loved Courtney’s use of them on her dressing room closet doors.
One important thing I learned when displaying them, though, is to be sure you’re reflecting something beautiful - like an attractive portrait or a window with a nice view. Mirrors don’t work well when reflecting a bare opposing wall, and of course not when doubling an unsightly spot like an open closet space!
Your home is stunning!! So many lovely details- I had to watch the video twice. Don’t pay any attention to any negative comments, I would like to see where these viewers live… haters gonna hate! 😟
Exactly!👏🏻
Gorgeous house! And the details… the stories behind them, the family heritage she loves! Love, love, love!!! 👏🏻👌🏻😍
The pink chairs are everything....the screen in patio that you schooled your daughter during covid with glass ceiling...great. 👍
Finally someone that knows the height of a chandelier at a dinner table.
Fantastic, brava! 👏❤👏❤👏❤👏❤👏
All the dishes are just beautiful, such a fabulous collection. Love the colors esp. the green and the wallpaper just fabulous. Adore this home!

Beautiful home and I can tell you've put your heart into this. Congratulations - it shows. Love it!
Surely a gorgeous, lovely and stunning home. 💓
Absolutely loved every detail in the telling and showcasing this beautiful home. The time out with this programme is like going on vacation so relaxing, uplifting and good for the soul. Thank you from Denmark 🇩🇰 🙏
The best use of color and pattern I have seen. Color that’s cozy and calming. What a concept!
I have never seen so much to marvel at, what a beautiful home. Every inch of your home design was just perfect. Thank you best home I've seen this year!
Beautiful, that lady sold me on everything 😊
This is truly a gloriously beautifully decorated room. Whew, this is an amazing home and I absolutely love that almost everything in it is vintage
I agree 👌💕💯
I loved everything about this home ! The fabrics with all the unique furniture lovely
This house is definitely a home…… gorgeous 🙏🏻💙🇬🇧
I am tremendously envious of what you have done. I loved all your choices. I also liked that you mingled family items, with vintage fabrics with resale shop finds.
I think this is my favorite one yet, Homeworthy! 😄
So much to love here! Saving the house from a potential teardown and then the thoughtful and careful redesign is fabulous! Love the use of green and the touches of whimsy everywhere. Thank you for a glimpse into your wonderful family home!
Absolutely gorgeous, love your esthetic and collections. I love mixed the old & new and the pool area is a dream.
Thanks so much for sharing, this was fantastic 🌸💕 j’adore!
Stunning.. She's an amazing tour guide.... So many details..
This home tour is amazing! The home and decor are exceptional. The homeowner is extremely interesting and personable! Thank you for sharing this beautiful home with all of us. Happy holidays! ❤️ 🎄😊
I adore the greens in this home. The whole home is so gorgeous.
Love this house…definitely a happy space! The home owner seems so down to earth…love that!
Somehow her home designs reflect her attire combinations and it’s fabulous, also for those of us that live, grew up in a City or do not have the economic opportunity to owning but can learn and appreciate esthetic designs. She talks and present to us without making the viewers feel uncomfortable about having valuable items. Thanks with respect!
I love the maximalist new traditional home. Absolutely beautiful home...really loved the tour even though I choose to live in my casual semi-minimalist transitional home.
This house is too beautiful, almost surreal but I feel like this much perfection makes it look like a furniture shop almost.
I learn more and more with each blessed Homeworthy video I watch. Truly.
With every house, there’s almost always decor I covet, novel strategies I’m surprised by, ideas I hope to implement - and choices that don’t resonate with me. But that’s what home decor is all about, right? Expressing our uniqueness in ways exclusive to who each of us are as individuals.
The design choice that impressed me in this home was the large pink flower print opposite the mirror in the hall. The way the colors reflected and contrasted against the green on the opposite side were very flattering. I was surprised and intrigued by the quirky green padded seat in the entry area - and the way the upholstery was incorporated into the stairway trim. And I was touched that Courtney kept the previous owners’ drapery, and that she accepted and prominently displayed the prior owner’s mother’s mirror (though who wouldn’t want - and want to show off - such a valuable item).
ps ~ If the homeowner is curious as to what single item I most coveted in her home, it was the bronze velvet sofa. The curves of that piece are exquisite!!!
Wow. It's a little overwhelming... traditional perfection. So many beautiful, valuable objects. I think I understand what you mean by decadent. Like the richest flourless chocolate torte garnished with organic raspberries. And yet, it's so perfectly sweet, I can't take it in all at once. I wonder what effect removing some mirrors and adding some less traditional artwork would have. It needs something sassy to break up the sugar.
Love all the dishes and glassware collections! So many amazing pieces to marvel over in this home and I love hearing the stories about family heirlooms as well. The solarium and her older daughter's bedroom are my favorites rooms of the house. If it were my place, I'd consider painting the white vent on the gorgeous green wall in the dining room so it's not so obvious. That's where my eye kept going when she was speaking about the beautiful mirror in there. Hopefully she knows not to leave bowls of chocolate unattended with her new little dog Louie running around!
Absolutely the vent should be painted in. I wondered if anyone else would say that.
Wow, what a home. Love that little blue and white bath off the kitchen. Would you call this Grand Millennial style? Love the chinoiserie, chippendale, and all that bamboo. Fabulous.
Courtney Petit is my spirit animal. O.M.G. this style is so divine.
This really isn’t my style but there was much to be appreciated as I watched. The more I watched, the more I enjoyed it.
Wow ! What a beautiful home !!How on earth do you keep it so spotless, amazing
Lovely home, thoughtfully done.
This home owner has impeccable taste! I love her home. My favorite ❤
Amazing-a beautiful tour/home, this was one of my favorites. Thank you for sharing.
This one of my favorite homes! Just beautiful!!!
What a beautiful home. I love the green and white and the view of the outside. The idea of showcasing the plates and cups is decorative as well as practical. I’ve gotten inspiration for how to display my own things. I also like to be around things that have been passed down to me.
Beautiful . Elegant, classy,
This is one of my favorite houses on Homeworthy and I am using it as inspiration. Things that I already love and that I am stealing, the mirrored front entrance, the painted white dining room chairs, the blue toile fabric in the observatory, the black and white checkered floors, the Slim Aarons photos, the gold gilded mirrors, the blue and white urns. All of my favorites that are weaved together beautifully. You have created beautiful surroundings for yourself and your family!
