    Despite the ever present temptation, I fervently pray that your translation team is encouraged, equipped, and enlightened, to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.
    Indeed so help you God! 😁
    Take whatever liberty to elaborate fully in the extra commentary. Educate, clarify, bless, warn, reference, and more.
    However, please NEVER do this to the actual text. No matter the rationalisation, or temptation.
    NOT what facilitate sales. NOT what won't cause offense. NOT what's expedient. etc.
    Seriously, I'm rooting for you. I have confidence there are are a multitude of others praying for you too.
    We all thank you very much. 🙇

    We're going to be discussing colors.
    - Did you know that the Hellfire has *7 Gates* and the Hellfire is Black.
    - The Word Black is Mentioned *7 Times* in The Qur'an.
    We know Paradise has *8 Gates* and a Prominent Color in Paradise is Green.
    The Word Green is Mentioned *8 Times* in The Quran.
    COINCIDENCE ⁉️⁉️ ⁉️well if you add The Amount of Gates Together 7 and 8 you get 15 and *The Word Gates comes 15 Times in the Quran.*
    - Can you give me another example of an ancient holy book that has This Level of Precision ; I don't think so.

      Try to find a Unitarian Church near you. This is a good place to start to see if there are any: www.unitarianchristianalliance.org/membership-map/
      Or move to a Unitarian Church.
      Or as a last option, stay at your Trinitarian Church. I think isolating yourself is the worst option. We are called to "not neglect to meet together". That would be my advice! Also, Spirit & Truth has online fellowships to join: spiritandtruthonline.org/virtual-groups/

    With the REV, There are now 901 English Bible Translations. Why should I choose it over the other 900, including the KJV, NKJV, GNT, or the ESV?

    • @biblicalunitarian
      @biblicalunitarian  5 місяців тому +13

      Because 895 of those are translated by Trinitarians, 3 or so are translated by Unitarian individuals, not teams of translators, and 2 or so are translated by organizations that all have the same theology and are not allowed to deviate from that theology, such as JW's NWT. Thus, it is arguably one of the only Unitarian translations made by a team of scholars who do not all have the same theology, so this helps prevent bias from seeping through into translation.

      The book of Enoch is absolutely scripture and an example of one of the books taken out of the bible by Trinitarians. It is still in the Ethiopian bible, was quoted by Jesus, and referenced many times in the bible.
      I do not believe that God gave us the bible with 66 books. 66 is not the number of God and books like Enoch, Jubilees, Esdras, and Ecclesiasticus do not contradict any of the other 66 books, and puts the bible at 70, and there are more....

    I think the only thing missing from this video is your qualifications.
    I don't know much about you guys. Where can I find this information?
    It's a little creepy, seeing three guys say that they have a new Bible when you don't know their background lol
    However, I've definitely benefited from your videos.
    Obviously, I haven't seen all of them. I'm sure your qualifications has been brought up before.

    • @biblicalunitarian
      @biblicalunitarian  4 місяці тому

      We purposely do not list our qualifications, or name all people who have worked on the project, as some people who have worked on the project prefer to remain anonymous, due to outside Trinitarian pressures.
      It is worth mentioning that "qualifications" do not make something true. I think a problem that many in our world struggle with, is thinking that because someone has more qualifications, they are more correct. This is a logical fallacy and one that should be avoided. Jesus had no "qualifications" does that make his teachings wrong in comparison with the Pharisees who had more official education? I hope that you would consider that maybe not listing your qualifications is not "creepy."
      To reassure you, the translation is being made by people with graduate education.

      @@biblicalunitarian Came back to let you know that I've been using the REV in my devotionals for about a week now and I love it.
      After your, seemingly, defensive response to an extremely reasonable question. I went on the site and found that one of you felt that the question was reasonable as well.
      Also, Jesus was definitely qualified.
      I definitely wasn't looking for letters before or after your name.
      I can't imagine any Unitarian falling for that..
      I was simply trying to help your video. Again, the only thing that was missing, were your qualifications.
      Especially, in case, the translation isn't for Unitarians only. Just another accurate translation available for consideration.
      Regardless, this translation has really blessed me. Anytime I came across a verse that stood out like a sore thumb, I would just check the REV and suddenly, my Bible made sense again.

    I have only one Lord and Elohiem and thats the Father ALONE. Isaiah 45:5-7. I don't worship any man. That would be idolatry The Shema. Jesus shouldn't be idolized just like Moses shouldn't be. He was 100% human being born again of the same spirit we are by the same process. Romans 1:3-4, Romans 8:11.
    He is not my Lord nor my savior. Only the Father is. Isaiah 43:11, Matthew 4:10.

      @Zuungie 5 місяців тому

      @pekde Is that what you think the verse means? I wouldn't be so sure. Paul is referencing Deut. 6.4 here, and in the Septuagint (the Greek translation of the Old Testament Paul's audience would've been familiar with), it reads "The Lord (kyrios) our God (theos) is one Lord (kyrios)." The phrasing of "one Lord (kyrios)" here in 1 Cor. is being applied to Jesus, and the title of "one God (theos)" is being applied to the Father.

      @@LoveAndLiberty02 if you read their articles on it, it ventures far beyond the scope of the translation. The evidence does not *only* point to their view, but they still give the reader the impression that soul sleep is the only valid belief (which is absurd). It seems like originally the intent of the REV was not to be objective, but now it is. Maybe originally it was just meant as a resource for their specific churches which hold to their specific list of dogmas like soul sleep. So these old articles just don’t fit the current vision.
