So because you mentioned the greasiness of the others, I'm surprised you didn't touch the hairspray balloon or try to see what happened in the sun. Please do a follow-up video. I remember trying hairspray, aquanet specifically as a way of clearing cloudy clear balloons. I think I had mixed results but I also think the brand of hairspray may make a difference.
Seem like you sprayed the black balloon quite a bit. More than maybe you had to? I say do a round two of this test.

We did not notice if we did or not, but it definitely dried soon after spraying

What does it feel like? Is it “oily” like with the Hi-Shine? I used Hi-Shine earlier this year and the client complained about the oilyness that never went away (or dried).

Its not as “oily” as Hi-Shine but it is a bit more sticky when it dries. Definitely give it a try and test it out on a few balloons. We also have only tried hairspray on an indoor installation. Hope this helps!

No this is not. It was just some hairspray I had laying around that I would use for my hair. It didn’t make balloons smell bad at all, actually gave it a nice scent.
