- Can you use a balloon shine spray in hot weather without your balloons popping? In this video, we're testing it out! Let's see how our balloons hold up in the heat.

This video was amazing thank you! I always blamed my popped balloons on kids walking past or perhaps them making contact with something, I never occurred to me that the heat would cause them to expand 🤦♀️ always learning

Yes, balloon shine does protect however they make the balloons very oily.

What are the poles you use for the columns in the ground? Love your videos!
They look like steel T posts. You can buy them at farm supply stores or home depot etc

Would it work better if you put the shine on prior to blowing up the balloons? And not after?
only after you have your garland setup, do not use shine prior :)
Please test the double stuffed balloons! Even when I under inflate the double stuffed balloons always seem to not have as much room to expand like a single inflated to the same capacity.

Please do double stuffed. I’ve also seen some decor artist mention they use hairspray. Could they be tested as well?
I recently used not hair spray but hair shine spray! It was so amazing but do not use it indoors, if it gets on the floor it spreads everywhere and is soooo slippery lol

@@as6178414 sure it’s Lee Stafford shine head spray. I’m in Australia but I’m sure it’s an international brand, comes in a hot pink can. It’s just a super fine oily shine spray to make hair look smooth and glossy, I’m sure most major brands would have an equivalent. I like it because it sprays in a continuous fine mist

I like Mega Shine. Don't have to rub it in but be careful inside spraying it since it can leave a greasy film on floor.

Could this work with metallic balloons being outdoors? Silver metallic
it should work with any balloons, but always best practice to test it for yourself to see how it all work)

correct, you can rub them but it will take forever if you have a long creation )
I did some on my patio for independence here in Texas 105 degrees and they popped all day lol

did you wipe the balloons after you spray? or you just leave the spray without rubbing it with cloth?
We just leave it . We dont wipe

100% yes otherwise they go a horrible dull colour
heat will change color very fast )
Too much variables to consider. It would be nice to see a comparison on the exact same clusters. Same brand, same color, same amount of balloons , same area, same amount of air in each balloon. May you please consider this when doing “test” videos. Thank you Decor Lab. ❤️
