I definitely buy the Costco charcuterie board. You save so much time and money. Time in putting it together, and money because you don’t have to buy individual cheeses and salami.
@@lovematters77 in this video she said “don’t buy that” as in pre cut meat and cheese… then proceeds to buy pre cut meat and cheese to sell to customers. makes very little sense.
love how she gives tipps while also calling triangles squares and recommends dried mango for a charcuterie board while also not using it. (who in their right mind uses mango for charcuterie?)

I despise 'charcuterie boards' because the idea of people pawing over everything is so gross, but I can get behind this idea! Would be so cute for parties and the boxes could be decorated to match the theme!
Not a professional but have some culinary experience and education. But the rule of thumb is 2 oz of cheese and 2oz of meat for every person for a wedding. Little boxes like this would be great to put at the table or as a little take away gift or you can go the traditional route and do a big board or table. Using different dimensions could help separate things if you want to do themes. (Like a raised stand or a cutting board) look up food safe flowers for a little decor or use herbs. The main thing is to pick something sweet, different textures, and flavors that complement. Example (fruit, aged cheese, soft cheeses, meat, crackers, candied nuts, pretzels) are all good options. Oh and last tip I found helpful is use different colors next to everything so you have a white cheese use something other than white around it. I like to put a pile of the same thing around the board and then fill it in with the same things near the different piles.
Imagine offering a charcuterie tutorial yet not knowing that charcuterie is a selection of cured meats........no cheese, no nuts, no grapes.....just meat, the delusion lol
Julia do better, sourcing from costco if fucking nuts "you can make it better on your own" yes you can JULIA try it... make a homeade dip sauce or jam for ONCE.

Spending over $100 in ingredients knowing $60 of it will go bad before I have a chance to eat it? Give me the box.
@@bailey488 I buy the Costco board to entertain my family. I have several brothers and family members.

Her end result includes a fork and knife. Isn't that opposed to the point of charcuterie? None of the things in that box need a fork or knife.
@@moringsdaughterThe fork because you may not want to eat with your fingers and the knife for the fig spread.
Some people need to cut foods smaller to eat safely.
And calls camembert brie.
Yeah she's a Dummy for sure.
