Respect to Richard Stoute. As a youngster I grew up listening to him rehearse in the Orleans. While me and my friends played on the pasture in back of Westbury School, stoute was knowingly or unknowingly our entertainment. To him, he was just rehearsing his songs or show, to us, we were in the right place at the right time. I also got to see De Opels practice, front row or should I say, front step seat at a small house at the corner of the 5th Avenue and Wharton’s Gap in the Orleans. Both Stoute and De Opels instilled in me the importance of practicing your craft and loving what you do. I enjoyed the interview. - Lionel “Teecha” Crawford

Spouge was killed by calypso in Barbados. Barbados calypso became so monstrous, it caused an invasion in Trinidad.
