    Why did you handfeed the formula after birth,
    keeping them separated from the parents ?

    • @bhangzbirdsandparrots
      @bhangzbirdsandparrots  Рік тому

      No I just did hand feeding and put back with their parents after feeding..I separated them from parents after 1 month..cause when they reach 1 month the parents start to bite and fight them..

    i have 1 red factor 4 days old baby canary without parents , i dont have any idea how to hand feed the tiny baby..? plz guide me and also tell me how many times in a day i give food to baby? should i start cantax? may i only give egg yolk with water or not?

      You have to do the hand feeding.. give them cerelac for birds and feed them every 2 hours.. disclaimer..I’m not an expert but on 2nd week feed them every 3 hours,on 3rd week feed them every 4 hours and starts to give them some seeds to learn to eat seeds..at exactly 1 month they already know how to eat alone..😊its just base on my experience..

    At what age is it safe to handle the chicks?

    • @bhangzbirdsandparrots
      @bhangzbirdsandparrots  Рік тому

      I started mine from Day 1 cause I wanted them tame.. but after hand feeding you still need to bring them back with their parents..you can separate them from parents after 1 month.. that’s base on my experience..🤗

    When do you separate the parents from the chicks so the mom can start a 2nd nest?

    • @bhangzbirdsandparrots
      @bhangzbirdsandparrots  2 роки тому +1

      1 month and a week,at this age the chicks know how to eat seeds alone.. and the father starts to fight with them.. that’s why you can separate the chicks after a month..

    My baby canaries are about 12 days old but we havent fed them yet, cuz we dont have a feeding syringe. But mines are much darker. Their beeks are black ans their feathers seem like black and orange. They werent pink. But my question is: do they become skittish if i domt feed them muself?

    • @bhangzbirdsandparrots
      @bhangzbirdsandparrots  3 роки тому

      Yes they would still do..mine are freely flying in our kitchen..let them out of the cage sometimes..do the hand feed if you want them tame..

    👎 for the annoying music. Totally unnecessary and unwelcome. An insult to our ears.
