Yeah, I’m definitely not working hard enough to DESERVE great legs. I love that you’re not using a lot of machines we might not all have access to. Anyone with dumbbells and a rack can perform almost all of these movements. Great video. Thanks for sharing!!! Edit: Tried it! Legs were shaking throughout the workout. My legs may hate me tomorrow.
Heel elevated squats... Obi: Don't go too heavy on these, keep a slow and controlled tempo... Also Obi: Slaps 120kg on his back :( Seriously though great video, always so informative :)
I start loving leg workout because of Obi. I always scared of doing leg workout right after my torn meniscus surgery, scared of recurring same injury. Thank you for sharing this helpful video.
The thoroughness of this video is Amazing! Thank you so much for this .. I will be doing this on my next leg day , all except the front squats .. I do not think I be holding the barbell correctly
Hey Mr Vincint, I've learned more from your videos than I have in 15 years a body building in esthetics. Keep these videos coming my physique has changed more than I could ever imagine strictly from your information. I'm struggling with back doubts and extreme chest tightness yes if you get the time a video on how to diproportions Would be awesome. In my opinion you truly are hands down the best in informational videos and knowledge for all forms of fitness!!!!
I did this workout yesterday, let me tell if you perform it the way he instructs you'll have noodle legs. Awesome routine for growth!! Much appreciated Obi!
I haven’t done a leg session for a while but, I watched this video from start to finish and this has inspired me, wow! New Year resolution, is hit legs, injury permitting of course. Top top video and thank you!
Obi says: "squeeze the muscle, like it owe's you money. Me in the Gym today doing legs after watching this: *intense stare at quads* "Where's my money mf'er?" *slaps thigh* huh? "Don't make me ask you again!" *squeeze* "Now you gonna tell me or what?"
I literally just found out about you and I can already tell I'm going to be learning and integrating alot of these workouts and tips into my own training. This is great content!
Many moons ago a Russian trainer spoke to me about my leg press technique. "You do a lot of weight, but not do full range of motion. If you do not do full range of motion, cannot get proper workout for leg." I love your variety of exercises, and the warmup ones which promote muscle endurance and ensure you are warmed up before embarking on compound leg movements. It builds it's own safety element, emphasizing form over the rush to lift heavy on fresh legs.
Leg press is the worst to see at the gym. Watching people with weak legs put 4 plates on each side then go 1/4 range of motion but think they’re going all the way is just comical. Same thing happens a lot on the hack squat. I’ll do respectable weight burying my ass into my achellies with good form for around 4 sets of 10 progressively overloading each week. You’ll see some people go with around the same weight with for just a few reps with over a foot less ROM and all you do is shake your head and keep doing your thing knowing that half that weight to proper depth would bury them on the first rep.
Obi just saw this for the first time and the hard work and dedication that’s put in clearly shows but I hear people calling out steroids very easily when they see someone in top physical form. Have you ever used anything to enhance your training? Thank you for creating such great quality content- especially how you’re not talking while working out but use a voiceover so that it doesn’t get distracting for you and the audience. Thanks again.
I'm at a very lean 175 with a max squat of only 225. Being this weak is humiliating but I can't wait to keep learning about leg and back training to strengthen my weak legs
I prefer the longer ones and yes if they don't hurt for days they won't grow,it's.not. a .game. and ego heads your wasting you time and life away proud of you KING 👑🙏🏾❤
This is cool, I always do isolated movements first + weak areas lunge, calves, hammies leg extentions then onto Squats etc with slow tempo just slightly less the bw to bw to slightly over
*@OBI* ... This workout is a killer just by watching it my fear is already skyrocking! Heel elevated Dumbbell Goblet Squats are my favorite as well! Thanks for the inspiration as always!
Thanks Brother Obi you're inspiring me to begin working on my legs again, after a period of poor health and time out of training. Well-done on form, this is key as we know! One love! New subber & liker! 🙏🏿
I’m currently laying in bed, I did this leg workout yesterday and it definitely did the job legs was on fire and very sore. This will be my new leg day routine✊🏽 Thank you!
One Question...how did you start at the beginning of your sport journey...because these exercices are not for beginner... maybe the workouts with the gymshark band....so with which training routines you start up building muscles and how fast you involved them to another trainings...
Old vid I know, but this is the difference with someone training without ego. I know a multitude of combinations, including consistency and diet, and getting paid to train for a living. But refreshing to see nonetheless. Awesome vid! Amazing Physique!
Was already doing some elements; added some others from this workout - today was legs / shoulders. Just the goblet squat after the leg raises... omg! Keep the content going and keep doing what you do. ✌🏽
I’m not the expert obviously but stretching and making sure to complete the full motion while lifting seems to be a great way to keep mobility. Soreness will come but using a foam roller after workouts can help. Great nutrition and hydration is also important ;)
Hoy hell Obi... im used to doing heavy squats/bulgarian/calves but after doing this workout it felt great. Only problem is I was breathing heavy towards the end. Maybe I need to focus more on my breathing during reps.
During the walking lunges, is there a reason why you pause for a second between each step? Seems to me like that would just remove some of the time under tension.
I’m in 8th grade going to play a skill position in high school what would this workout be good to get stronger more explosive and faster (love ur channel btw)
Obi’s leg workouts make me look fwd to leg day. I’ve literally started doing legs 2-3x a week because of this man
Did this for my leg day today and all I gotta say is i was contemplating life after every set 🤣great workout bro thank you!
🤣🤣🤣🤣

I have learned neither am I. I have to get my stamina up so i can complete these challenging workouts.
Heel elevated squats...
Obi: Don't go too heavy on these, keep a slow and controlled tempo...
Also Obi: Slaps 120kg on his back :(
Seriously though great video, always so informative :)
Obi, you're crazy. I'm scared of this routine but I'm looking forward to do it today. Thanks a lot!
So I just tried this and I’m currently typing this right next to the lord Jesus Christ... 💀

Oh my, I already hate leg day. This is 3x more insane. Watching you do this is incredible.
This is a basic blueprint for gains, and more importantly, longevity.
I just finished this workout for the first time and my legs were shaking and numb. This routine really makes me look fwd to leg day 🦵🏽
The band tips are sooo great!!! I LOVE when you talk with science based information! Thank you so much for your videos 🤩
Currently doing this leg day workout and it is KILLING ME!!! GREAT STUFF! 💪🏼
I’m looking to add this to my leg workout would u say it works
Obi deserves for all of us to make a second account to sub and like his vids. Such great content. Keep it up bro

I'm not even sure how Obi survives his leg training session. This is mad hard, fam
Roids and energy drinks
@@slightreflections2921 He is definitely not on roids

😭😭😭
YOU ARE A FREAK-N MAD-MAN !
looks like a slow motion effect on the video but its all muscle control. RESPECT brotha !
My legs are actually getting bigger and stronger I'm very happy with my progress. From Fresno to now I see a vast improvement FYI.
2 weeks I've been watching and training to your workouts awesome very informational definitely helped with the back videos on latt activation!
Before I do this leg day, I’m going to take out insurance for my legs.
His quads are made out of steel awsome
Steel fiber
Dude's got it genetics and he works hard
Ikr, how tf do you even get your quads that big, mine are tiny and not as ripped
I swear I am the most disappointing person who has been worked out

Great leg workout. Bye bye leg finisher was not needed but I struggled through them.
TOTAL ANIMAL. Most advanced top competitor body builders could not match this particularly brutal and devastating leg routine. ^^^BIG UPS^^^
Thank you man , this routine is amazing ,
Thanks for sharing every single technique Obi.!
Great advise about training the calves in the beginning! I'm implementing that next time. And the walking lunges.
Awesome video. I've been looking for new ways to train my quads, so this is timely.

you bad ass brother.. much Aloha for this video..new subscriber.. ill keep an eye out for the App
What’s the rest time in between each set?
Any Idea how long this workout should normally take?
A lot of gems in this video !
During the walking lunges, is there a reason why you pause for a second between each step? Seems to me like that would just remove some of the time under tension.
He say's he stop's to squeeze and active glutes to work the muscle harder through the movement.

wow..very clean movements.
I just LOVVEEEE everything about you thank you soooo much!!!!
Awesome workout complete routine from warm up to burnout, massive bro.
We hv never seen you doing upper body muscle building exercises then how you got this shape. Pls share
I don't get the dropset 10 x10, especially for the tempo squats where he recommends going slightly heavier?
I don’t get it either
