You have to travel to the waters off the southern coast of Australia to find one of the world's great predators. We are talking about the white shark, weighing two tons, and which spreads terror on the beaches of the oceanic country due to the waters coming from the icy Antarctic. We analyze their daily life in this country and how they are capable of spreading terror among the rest of the living beings that live with them. Do not miss an absolutely spectacular documentary.

This was beautiful. I wasn't unhappy to find that it wasn't even mostly about Great Whites because I'm interested in all the creatures in the seas. I do agree with others that the title is misleading, perhaps deliberately so.
It's possible that great white sharks and others "attack" humans neither to eat them nor "by mistake". Hal, the man who hosts "SharksHappen", posits that sharks might be territorial, or they just might not like that humans are around. Sometimes they bite surfboards or human limbs, but then they swim away as the scared and/or injured human flees. It seems unlikely to me that sharks mistake humans for seals. It is definitely unwise for humans to swim near seal colonies though, for obvious reasons. I think we humans have a lot to learn about sharks, and about many creatures with whom we share this planet.

In the first5 min you'll see a shark then nothing until about the 41 min mark. Great video to fall asleep too.

If you really want to hear about great white and other sharks, and nothing but shark/human interactions then THE BEST place on UA-cam for that is:
    🦈 SHARKS HAPPEN! 🦈

This is a TERRIBLE documentary on GWSs. Skip to 37:00 and by 46:22 that's it...
Less than 10 mins if screen time.
Please rename this documentary to something more appropriate to its content to make it a good doc again.

Why is 90% of this documentary about everything other than sharks?

In spite of the title, sharks get only a brief mention in the first two-thirds of this so-called "documentary". Those two-thirds talk about seaweed, birds, dolphins, crabs, and fanciful statements about the origin of the Australian continent over unprovable zillions of years. Planet Doc is off my list.

Ive never understood why the great white is the end all and be all of sharks. There sre so many sharks that are more interesting and beautiful...the threshers, whale sharks, great hammerheads blues, makos and tigers. It seems that the big deal about the great white is their size and their fear factor, but even then, i think the oceanic white tip is scarier.

I think it's terrible for people to kill Great Whites for sport. I kill them for Great White shark fin soup and nothing more and being the environmentalist that I am, I release the dead shark back into the ocean to provide food for other sharks to eat! But if I ever do capture an 8 meter Great White, I would probably want to mount it to show it off to both of my friends!
