Man, I can’t believe Big Leaugue MDB came out of my screen, strapped me down, and forced me to listen to the outro. He literally FORCED me to listen to it! Afterward he crawled back into the screen and left me alone. 10/10, would listen again.
3:35 But you DID do a Tyrogue-only run. And actually made it all the way to Red after over 60 attempts of possibly the unluckiest RNG I have ever seen against Blue's Exeggutor.

Description of High Jump Kick for S/V from Bulbapedia: The target is attacked with a knee kick from a jump. If this move misses, the user takes damage instead.
Here's an idea for an interesting challenge. Gen VI with Jessie's team. Yes that Jessie from team rocket. Team Comp.: Wobbuffet, Seviper, Yanma/Yanmega, Woobat, Frillish (female), and Pumpkaboo/Gourgeist. Now for anybody wondering about her other Pokémon, let me explain. Arbok: Released to the wild so he can be with other Arboks Lickitung: Traded for Wobbuffet, though could be an interesting replacement instead. Dustox: Jessie's Dustox was in love, much like Ash's Butterfree situation, so she released him Mimikyu, Bewear, and Stufful: The trio was left on Alola when the Boss ordered Team Rocket to go back to Kanto. Jessie came to a conclusion the trio will be much happier on Alola Leaving Frillish, Yanmega, Seviper, Woobat and Gourgeist: In the series finale for Pokémon Black and White, they were given away to Giovanni at Team Rocket Headquarters. Near the end of Journeys, Giovanni returned them back to Jessie. A little long winded, but I believe this could be very interesting to see. Anyways, here's the in game locations for Gen VI for you and anybody else's fun Wobbuffet: Reflection Cave Seviper: Route 8 Yanma-Yanmega: Route 10 (Horde Encounter) Woobat: Reflection Cave/Glittering Cave Pumpkaboo->Gourgeist: Route 16 Finally, Frillish: Trade only. But you could randomize Frillish to replace Froakie

I have my black-/white 2 with only hidden grotto encounters! - use the randomizer to change one of the starters to a rattled dunsparce, sap sipper marill or a scrappy lillipup - the starters are from the floccesy ranch's grotto and they have their hidden abilities - you can only use hidden grotto encounters - you can catch as many you want or one per grotto, you choose
The randomizer can't control hidden ablilities, and you can't enter hidden grottoes before Bianca tutorializes them. So it would just start at the fourth gym, which would be super boring.
04:58 Finding Heracross in Gen 2 is much easier than people think, and you don't really need any special calcultors for it. You just go to a relevant location (route or town that can have Heracross), pick a tree, do a handfull of encounters, and see what is that tree's Encounter Table (what other Pokemon are there) - if it's the wrong table then you move on to the next tree (and if all trees in that location are duds then you move on to the next relevant location), and when you find a tree with the right table then you just keep doing encounters untill you get Heracross. I believe it can't take more than 10-15 minutes.
Tbh how I picture a Hitmonlee's High Jump Kick is that Hitmonlee uses their extra-stretchy legs to spring really high into the air and then land a huge drop kick on the opponent from like a 50 foot (15.24 meter) drop idk I feel like the funnier part of this description is Hitmonlee just turning its legs into springs to launch into the stratosphere

I love your outros because it shows that you genuinely care about your following, and it shows that you read our comments. Keep up the good work bud, i hope things get better for you in all aspects
The stress test you did sounds like the one I did when I was younger. My family has heart problems so I hope it’s nothing as bad as that. I enjoyed the video and I’m looking forward to the next one.

To be fair, besides the random bouts where it knocks you down, slower heart rate naturally can be a good thing. My boyfriend's heart rate slows down to about 40-50 beats per minute when he sleeps and they told us it's due to his hearts strength as he is a really good Soccer player and loves to exercise. It was scary but later funny, because they had to adjust his machine to not beep when it got low like that during the night. I hope they can continue helping though for the dizzy spells! Also, make sure they didn't botch your teeth removal. Our teeth are directly related to out heart health.
I like that you have given "type specialist", as I call it, a try. Im usually a fan to see others do mono type nuzlockes. I have tried some myself but its not for me to play that style. Instead when I play a challenge I do it as a type specialist with a few nuzlocke rules included. Mostly lvl cap. Please do more specialist runs I´d like to see how you do.
Thanks for the continued content, in spite of your health issues! One of these days, consider KOTOR 2 with no Force Powers for a non-Pokemon challenge.
Hitmonlee's pokedex entry in, I think red/blue, says it can stretch its legs. So I like to imagine it floats like Dalsim from street fighter for jump kick and actually jumps for hi jump kick.
I did not expect to hear some deeply helpful advice in the outro. I came to hear about more medical gong shows. Oh and also the Pokemon or something idfk.
I enjoy the outros. I do want to know how you are doing medically. Because we care and we wish you the best. Hope you hear some good news soon. Thanks for always providing such amazing entertainment!
I feel you on eyeglasses. I need glasses for basically everything. Can't even see a foot in front of my face. And they're always so expensive when you get new ones.
@MahDryBread just so you're informed, Low Kick works differently in Gens 1 and 2. It was a 50 power 90% accurate move with a reasonable chance to flinch.
I always considered Jump Kick and Hi Jump Kick to be a single leg rising kick while jumping off of the other or both legs. I never imagined it as a Coast to Coast Dropkick until now.
I have a pokemon challenge I think you'd be interested in! I'm sure you know that fire red has a post game quest where you have to find the ruby and sapphire. After you complete that quest you can go back and challenge the elite four again, except they have some different pokemon, and they're all higher levels. So do whatever challenge you want, just do it in fire red, and beat the post game elite four.
10:10 Since you brought this up, High Jump kick is specifically called "Jumping Knee Kick" (とびひざげり) in Japanese. The description of the move specifically says "The target is attacked with a knee kick from a jump. If this move misses, the user takes damage instead." which highly indicates that the user kicks the opponent with their knees instead of their feet. This is why the user takes large damage after missing it, because you are trying to hit your opponent with your knee, and if the move misses, your knee crashes into the ground, which will hurt a lot more than your feet landing on the ground. This way of kicking is indicated in the Pokemon manga as Bruno's Hitmonlee actually used it, and funnily enough, Bruno pointed out that "You can't tell where Hitmonlee's knee is" so even Red thought he dodged it, it still hit his Pokemon in that attack. (Don't believe me? Go look at Hitmonlee's design and tell me where the knee is. That part looks identical to everywhere else of his leg.)
I always imagined hitmonlee's hi jump kick was done the way Bruce Lee kicked given the namesake I know you probably get a lot of these requests but I recently got back into pokemon through your videos and my favourite pokemon as a kid was trash cloak wormadam so I wanted to give her a shoutout since I think she would do really well in a solo challenge Keep up the awesome work I love the show!
"Can you beat Fallout 4 with only the Lead Pipe?" Get and use the Lead pipe as you only weapon for the game. Weapon modifications are allowed, Power Armor is allowed, it doesn't matter what side you choose, but I suggest either the Minutemen or the Brotherhood.
I, for one, love your ad-libed rambling outros MDB! Your videos are great of course and you write your own scripts so it's not like the outros are the "real you", but it is just nice to hear about you! On that note, stop dying pls, thx.
I don’t know if it was established in the anime or if this was just my head canon, but I’ve always imagined the high jump kick as one of those jumping spinning capoeira kicks
I know you already know this but people complain whether you do something or don’t do something. Can’t please everyone. I can’t say I enjoy the medical outros because that seems callous and morbid but I’ve always found medical stuff interesting and boy howdy is your case interesting. Myself and a few of my relatives have medical abnormalities and everything seems like diagnosis by elimination. Which is awesome for thoroughness, but is super frustrating due to how long the process takes, by far better than a misdiagnosis though. I hope that your care team can come up with if not a cure a treatment plan that gets you where you want to be. Your positivity throughout this journey has been inspiring! I would get so frustrated when my doctors could tell me what I didn’t have but not what I did have I’d watch one of your videos where you mention this kind of thing and I’d remember/realize that a misdiagnosis is so much worse than no diagnosis. Thanks for the fun videos and I hope you start feeling better soon!
MDBAMA: could your health problems be tied to your name? A dry beard can cause all those health problems. You should get a sponsorship with keeps. All joking aside, what kind of planning do you do for runs?

10:00 Hi I do taekwondo and I imagined Hi jump kick as like a jumping axe kick because of Hitmonlee’s springy legs it can jump at hit really high. Anyway that’s just my two cents.

I recently played through Crystal and decided I would go for a Heracross. I was not ready for the rabbit hole the research led me down... the idea that your Trainer ID determines which trees can or cannot have pokemon and what they have, I can get. How anyone managed to figure that out, let alone reverse engineer the system and allow you to see a map of the entire game with every tree and what it contains with a simple to use tool, is the kind of thing that reminds me why I'm not a programmer.
I don't have lot to add here it was a cool challenge to see I didn't know what to expect about it. I was just wishing you got at least 1 Himontop, for the fun of it. But I wasn't hoping that lot. In fact I was just hoping a different pokémon for Hitmonlee, just to see how you will came around. But meh it's still a good win and an enjoyable show so keep up and I wish for the best for your health 👍 Pokémon Challenge suggestion: You are free to go with the game of your choice, but the challenges is using only middle evolution stage pokémon. (For Exemple: If you pick Bulbasaur as your starter, you can only battle with Ivysaur.) You are not allowed to use pokémon who's has no evolution or only 1, it must be a pokémon with a 2 stage linear Evolution. So pokémon like Eevee or Tyrogue are not allowed, but pokémon like Oddish, Poliwag or Ralts are allowed. Try number: 16
i dont watch wrestling but in the anime the jump kick moves involved jumping into air and coming down knee first onto op...or the ground which causes recoil
Does feel weird having two Hitmonlees, yes. I was hoping you'd get the Tyrogue in Mt. Mortar with the idea that since it's a split evolution line, you could get two of them, but having two of the same, it feels like "why aren't we always getting multiples in a type run that struggles to get a full team?"
I literally forgot I did a Tyrogue run
Well, I guess I should do more Tyrogue runs!
I'm guessing you just suppressed the memory because it was that awful using a tyrogue.

Iirc I believe he said in an episode. He hasn't played through the post game of black/white or black/white 2, so he doesn't want to do it in a challenge
4:35 I like the idea of swift being ninja stars in gen 1-3 because it's physical.
So basically playing as Bruno.

Yeah, Leon's cinderace uses it in his battle against Ash, which he straight up does a flying knee instead of a kick
Ash teaching his mons street fighting moves
High Jump Kick tends to be a knee blow. For Jump Kick, it's either generic flying karate kick, or a roundhouse kick when Lopunny used it.
I like to think the first Hitmonlee was Bruce Lee, and the second Hitmonlee was Brandon Lee.

Leaving Frillish, Yanmega, Seviper, Woobat and Gourgeist: In the series finale for Pokémon Black and White, they were given away to Giovanni at Team Rocket Headquarters.
Near the end of Journeys, Giovanni returned them back to Jessie.
A little long winded, but I believe this could be very interesting to see.
Anyways, here's the in game locations for Gen VI for you and anybody else's fun
Wobbuffet: Reflection Cave
Seviper: Route 8
Yanma-Yanmega: Route 10 (Horde Encounter)

Hi Jump Kick translates to “Jumping Knee Kick” in the original Japanese. So it should by more like the Busaiku Knee
That explains the anime depictions!

You should have nicknamed the second Hitmonlee "Hitmonchan" because that's hilarious.
You said it all man! Also glad you are doing a bit better! I hope u get to 100% soon!
I'm not normally interested in KOTOR runs BUT that one sounds really fun
I might do it one day, but probably not any time soon
Hitmonlee's pokedex entry in, I think red/blue, says it can stretch its legs. So I like to imagine it floats like Dalsim from street fighter for jump kick and actually jumps for hi jump kick.
I did not expect to hear some deeply helpful advice in the outro. I came to hear about more medical gong shows.
Oh and also the Pokemon or something idfk.
This is poliwrath erasure 💔
I enjoy the outros. I do want to know how you are doing medically. Because we care and we wish you the best. Hope you hear some good news soon. Thanks for always providing such amazing entertainment!
I feel you on eyeglasses. I need glasses for basically everything. Can't even see a foot in front of my face. And they're always so expensive when you get new ones.
I’m here for my favorite suggestion: Platinum with no Pokemon Centers
@MahDryBread just so you're informed, Low Kick works differently in Gens 1 and 2. It was a 50 power 90% accurate move with a reasonable chance to flinch.
You stay the most authentic UA-camr to me. Would love for you to do a randomizer run or pokemon stadium 2.
I always considered Jump Kick and Hi Jump Kick to be a single leg rising kick while jumping off of the other or both legs. I never imagined it as a Coast to Coast Dropkick until now.
That dropkick reference with Mark Jindrak😂😂
I have a pokemon challenge I think you'd be interested in! I'm sure you know that fire red has a post game quest where you have to find the ruby and sapphire. After you complete that quest you can go back and challenge the elite four again, except they have some different pokemon, and they're all higher levels. So do whatever challenge you want, just do it in fire red, and beat the post game elite four.
About the red spots in your stool... did you perchance eat red beets before that? That can colour your stool red.
I genuinely have to credit this man for keeping me going with my streams. Like he’s genuinely so motivating.

May he be new Bruno. Hail new Bruno !!!!! P.S. your team composition is better then old Bruno's also more in line with being fighting guy
That part looks identical to everywhere else of his leg.)
in gen 2 Low Kick does 50 base power and can make flinch. The weight mechanic was implemented since gen 3 onward
Can't watch right now MDB but you're gonna make my lunch break worthwile in about four hours. Thank you my good man
When Hitmonlee does his High Jump Kick I usually imagine it looks like Booker T's scissor kick even though I know it doesn't make any sense.
I appreciate the updates my guy.
You should do a playthrough where you only use evee and its evolutions
Both jump kick and hi jump kick were always pump kicks in my head for some reason, even though it's not really martial artsy.
I always imagined hitmonlee's hi jump kick was done the way Bruce Lee kicked given the namesake
I know you probably get a lot of these requests but I recently got back into pokemon through your videos and my favourite pokemon as a kid was trash cloak wormadam so I wanted to give her a shoutout since I think she would do really well in a solo challenge
Keep up the awesome work I love the show!
Your Canadian accent makes me happy.
8:11 Actually, that only came into play in Gen 3. At least, that's what Bulbapedia says about the move.
Correct, Low Kick is a fixed 65BP move in Gen 1 and 2.
I think Hi Jump Kick is like Guy's/Rock Lee's/Metal Lee's Leaf Hurricane.
You should've called the starter Chan Lee because that would've been funny 😂
"Can you beat Fallout 4 with only the Lead Pipe?"
Get and use the Lead pipe as you only weapon for the game.
I feel in the Winning Red Fight, you said High Drop Kick on purpose!
I tune in for the 30 minute health section of the video 🤷♂️ that and to tell you I miss the 7 days to die videos 😂
I'll have you know that i WAS tied down and forced to watch the outro... the UA-cam Algorithm refused to let me leave until i helped by watching the whole video 😂
35:23 That's $455.71 in USD if anyone's curious.
46:32 That's why *I* do UA-cam for fun and I have a Part Time Job that pays $14 an hour (That's $18.89 in CAD). *BOTH* are fun to me.
You can win! Fighters never back down!
10:00 Hi I do taekwondo and I imagined Hi jump kick as like a jumping axe kick because of Hitmonlee’s springy legs it can jump at hit really high. Anyway that’s just my two cents.
Pokémon Yellow with first form versions of Ash Ketchums team
Pokémon any Gen with the first 6 Pokémon you find in any route, but you can’t evolve them. You can swap out after gym leaders.
Pokémon Any Gen but only using RNG moves (Psywave, Magnitude, etc)
Pokémon Any Gen but you can only use standard poke balls
Pokémon BW2 with only Ns Pokémon
Pokémon HGSS with only headbutt tree and sweet scent Pokémon
Or moves with random # of attacks like Double Kick, Double Slap, Fury Cutter, etc
Fallout NV with thrown melee weapons only
Fallout NV with only Nuka Cola (Nuka breaker and Nuka grenades)
Fallout 4 with only Thirst Zapper
Fallout 4 with only Power Armror and Cryolator
Fallout NV with only the dart gun
Fallout 4 with only Zeta Wave Gamma Gun
Fallout 4 with only Shem Drowne Sword
Fallout NV with only a nailed board/baseball bat
Fallout NV with only Bladed Gauntlets
I recently played through Crystal and decided I would go for a Heracross. I was not ready for the rabbit hole the research led me down... the idea that your Trainer ID determines which trees can or cannot have pokemon and what they have, I can get. How anyone managed to figure that out, let alone reverse engineer the system and allow you to see a map of the entire game with every tree and what it contains with a simple to use tool, is the kind of thing that reminds me why I'm not a programmer.
I don't like the medical outro but that's only because I want you to be ok man, thanks for keeping us updated MDB.
A Pokemon run in any game, but only Pokemon that learn dragon type moves
Run Suggestion- Still think you oughta do a run through the Gens with your favorite pokemon from that Gen.
Love the outros!
But meh it's still a good win and an enjoyable show so keep up and I wish for the best for your health 👍
Pokémon Challenge suggestion: You are free to go with the game of your choice, but the challenges is using only middle evolution stage pokémon.
Apologies in advance for this joke, but,
I guess you could say that mdb’s blood is “under pressure”.
I’ll see myself out now.
