for those that don't "get it", this is modern electronic music. it's not meant to be for everyone.
it's like break dancing and contemporary ballet. both require physical fitness and endurance however they are two completely different styles.
Let's support Amon Tobin. He's t'he best. One of a kind artist.

went to see his show yesterday in BXL and i was astonished! No doubt, his best show ever!!
This was one of the best concerts I have ever been to hands down.
I saw him in Toronto... and not to mention the bass was so epic it would knock your wig off.
Nearly 6 years later and it still blows me away! That was the Right decision to drive 6 plus hours to Chicago in Oct. 2011 to see him! Mind blowing. . .transformative. . . top 3 shows for me, for sure! Sigur Ros was another. The third I might have to ponder. ;)
So glad I went to see this live.

Amon Tobin is the greatest producer ever.
Couldn't agree more, this is really amazingly mind boggling..
Now that he's refined his field recording, sound design, and production techniques, I think the best is yet to come from Amon. This very well could just be the tip of the iceberg.
I can not wait for this in NYC, Amon Tobin is one of the all time greats.

I knew of Amon Tobin thanks to wikipedia, I was looking for variations of "In the hall of the mountain king" and found Four Ton Mantis... I love his style, any one can create music; but he managed to create whole new sounds
I had a couple tracks but never knew about his visual performance. Looks good. Can't wait for his show in LA!

Correct but if you actually go to an Amon Tobin concert you'll realise that it isn't a music performance, it is designed to be a full sensory experience. Auditory, visual and tactile. You can literally feel your insides being bounced around by subsonic waves. This hasn't been done before that is why it is brillant.
Saw this last night in Brooklyn! Was no kidding, one of the best shows I've ever gone to. Astonishing work from the entire team that put that together. Voronoi shatter FTW!
my girlfriend just played this for me tonight. i was expecting the usual electro dub-influenced hipster soundtrack....but was blown away to say the least. it's like the instrumental aspects of animal collective...but better. i remember thinking...this is like music from 2015 that we're lucky enough to hear. amazing stuff. huge fan as of now.can't wait to see this live at moogfest this october!

I saw the ISAM gig three rows from the front in the sydney opera house. I have never felt sound that was an actual kenetic force. The intense vibration you feel in every cell of your body puts you into a dreamy meditation, your senses honestly struggle to fathom what they are feeling. It was incredible, your right this isn't music, this is something quantumly beyond usual sound. It's good to see that Amon Tobin is the first human to discover how to cast magic because that is what this is, Wizard
amon tobin is doing a new tour with a stage that is twice as big because he felt that the venues dwarfed the his stage, it looks amazing. I saw him in london, the venue was big but the stage was still very impressive.. haha but that is a cool story

Well, America...it's not surprsing that it has taken you FORTY YEARS to become interested in/aware of/excited about up-to-the-minute popular electronic/nstrumental/video music in a big way! Being an electronic musician myself (and a singer/composer, too) I'm hoping that this current obsession with creative electronic music/performance will become an important part of pop. America has been lagging behind the rest of world in many areas: it's time for us to hop on the electronic bandwagon!

I meant sounds that do not add up to music. Music is many levels above just a succession of sounds; music is easily recognizable, distinct of random sounds; and if half a people say that these sounds are music and the half of others disagree, then these sounds are not music, it is something between music and sounds, on that all can agree.
