When did they really show her abilities other than Sasori fight? They only told, they failed to show - that was the main problem with the writing of her character. She also knows (in the head) techniques, like explaining what the puppet technique is or Ino's technique and its weakness... But she sucks in battle (aside from the movies, she's great)... Shippuden/Boruto Sakura though she's a combination of Book Smart and Strategist...

It's because they're significantly more popular. Atleast in Japan, where the shows based, they always have been. The Uchiha family individually and together, bring in way more views than the uzumaki family, the studio knows this, so they end up giving them more moments overtime.
