In the novel there were a lot of little things that makes this scene 1000x more wholesome. Like when sasuke wish sarada could be there with them, or when he thinks her calloused hands from helping others are his pride, also the part where he touch the corner of her eyes😭

It's nice to read people's comments.
That is to say, it is very nice to see that many have taken the time to look beyond their perspective to understand the Sasuke and Sakura couple, who have a very complicated story behind them, and to be attentive is to realize that there were always clues. From the way Sasuke took care of her when they were kids, to the way he said things. I am beyond happy to see them like this. These moments are what I've been waiting for. They have both had so much character development. It's so amazing to see Sakura go from being obsessed with Sasuke and always wanting to be near him to being okay with him gone all the time and living her own life. And to see Sasuke go from despising Sakura and thinking she was annoying to realizing that she is what he always needed. I love them both so much.

That's what I'm saying. Anyone can have a crush on someone they find to be good-looking and perfect, but not everyone is willing to stand by someone with so much trauma and emotional baggage, despite how good-looking they find them to be. She stuck by him for YEARS despite how deadly he became to the point that he even attempted to take her life. She even thought that if she killed him, that all the deaths and chaos would stop, and in a way he would finally be free of all his own troubles too, but at the last moment, her heart wouldnt let her 😭 and I love how he always used to say that he was going to restore his clan (aka have a ton of children) but he only ends up having one child with Sakura because he actually loves her and no longer cares about restoring his clan 😭
kinda disappointed they didn't add the part where sasuke caressed sakura's cheeks and told her it was fine if she had wrinkles since she never seemed to change, loosely implying that she was still beautiful no matter how old they got. But this works for me too i guess lol
it's nice to see this side of saskue it really solidifies his character development and makes ya realize it was all worth everything was worth it bcs it's led to these moments I'm so proud of saskue-san my boy done grown up fr

Romantic vibe aside, i'm really glad to see Sasuke finally live in peace (i mean yes, he still has to do his job as shadow hokage but you know what i mean). After everything he went through in his youth, he finally can rest for a while with his family like this.
I remember when Sarada pranked her dad in Sasuke Shinden novel 😆
Sarada: "Neh.. papa. Have you talked to mama about this? Does she know that you're leaving?"

Sasuke's face goes frozen a bit, and he puts his hand down.
When papa fights he looks like a devil boss but now he is troubled by this kind of little trick. How lovely. My papa, who is the coolest man ever, at times becomes cute.
Sarada: "Papa, every time when things related to mama come to you, you just can't keep calm isn't it?"
Sasuke: "Sarada..."
Sasuke, very confused, bends down and poke her forehead.

I'd argue a ring made of his own Chakra is better than a ring made of metal and gems. Because of that ring, she will always have a tie to sasuke more than any store bought ring could give. He made it specifically for her, and that just feels so much more special

It’s crazy to see him go from a psychopathic murderous teenager to a kind and loving husband and father who regrets his past wrongdoings. Really good character development. He’s definitely my favorite in this time period.

This blows my mind. Sauske’s character development is insane and just overall touching. A man that had to witness his clan murdered by itachi, focused mainly on revenge, pushed everyone away for power, almost damn near killed Sakura despite her compassion and love for him, from realizing the truth and helping naruto and company stop kaguya, from fighting naruto and finally realizing the way he was doing things was wrong, he’s been through a lot. But to see him as a loving dad, a husband just hits me in so many ways and I’m just happy for him and Sakura to have moments like this

Writers need to let Sasuke give this soft side more often. He is a married man now and people should understand that regardless of his duty (protect the village) he loves his wife and child.
They think it’s “out of character” but it’s really not. Sasuke only ever shows his soft side to sakura or Sarada, at most asking help from Kakashi or naruto occasionally so it makes perfect sense also as a changed man.

Gaara at least had peace once he realized he wasn’t alone anymore in OG while Sasuke kept going until he thought he couldn’t start over again, he was ready to be seen as the bad guy and stay in his misery if he actually killed naruto and tried to rebuild konoha that’s when naruto knocked some senses into him telling him that he still is loved, he has friends to help and care for him regardless of anything he’s done and to be fair Sasuke didn’t really do anything that terrible, not the worst at least, he killed itachi a criminal, he killed danzo which he deserved bc of his evil methods to protect konoha and he killed a bunch of shinobi to train idk their roots tho and tried to kidnap killerbee but he failed, left the village and attacked the kages and took an arm from raikage. It’s alot but nothing THAT bad.

Sasuke lost everything when he was just a child, his father, mother, older brother, clan and eventually himself. After everything he's been through, to see him at peace and happy again with a lil family of his own, a wife he loves and a daughter he'd do anything for, is just so heartwarming
