It’s also right for Tsunade to avenge her friend’s death. I’m not saying that Naruto loved Jiraiya any less, but cmon. But Tsunade’s stint in the invasion is okay though. That's just the thing. Sakura was never supposed to be as relevant as she became. Kishimoto himself said she wasn't originally supposed to be any more relevant than characters like Kiba. People just expected more from her because she was part of the main team. But in reality she is a badly written character that Kishimoto had to promote to a main character.

For Sakura's sake, I sometimes like to pretend the series after Sasori's death didn't happen. They just didn't bother developing Sakura after that, and she really did get left behind. Leading up to that though, I was getting really hyped with her character development. Really big shame they didn't follow through. Sakura had the potential to be a really inspiring and strong character.

I wish we saw her genjutsu abilities. I like this character, but she could've had a better character development. To make her rival with/resist Sasuke's sharingan, or maybe use other types of gengutsus, it would've been awesome.

Thankfully, she met a good teacher, Lady Tsunade. She studied healing and also trained herself so she can defend herself and friends. She might not have that Power compared to Naruto and Sasuke, but it's just amazing how she is now the head of the medicine institute in Konoha. Ever since I was a kid, I see myself in her and I ASPIRE TO BE LIKE HER. I am now in my 3rd year of PreMed. Hoping I can proceed to Medicine in the future. Wish me luck!
Honestly, I feel like Sakura is underestimated for such stupid reasons. I actually like her as a character. She actually was really important too when it came to Sasukes growth. It may not have been ideal, but she was probably the team member they needed. Can you imagine if they had one of the other girls on the team? The dynamic and the way Naruto and Sasuke would have been, woukd have been different. Not even ino was as humble as Sakura, which is what Sasuke needed. She may not have made the progress that Sasuke and Naruto did, but she made good progress and something out of herself nonetheless. Her role is important in her own.

"The writers." One, there's one writer. Two, her genjutsu is essentially null against most dojutsu's, in Naruto alone Kurenai vs Itachi serves to prove that. Three, though her chakra control is among the best her taijutsu isn't. I don't remember what she was listed at in the databooks (themselves not necessarily canon) but I can't imagine it being higher than characters like Sasuke, Neji, or Hinata (the former established to be the best of team 7 at it, the latter examples specializing in taijutsu, in accordance with the abilities bestowed upon them.) Sakura could perhaps rival Tsunade, but that's still questionable considering Tsunade's massive life force and chakra (being both Senju and Uzumaki.) Ultimately, she would've perhaps being slightly below Kage level, which is p much fodder by the end of the series, even middle.

When I first saw Sakura’s Shippuden outfit, I got excited of the possibilities for her - new outlook, powers, and more. After Sasori, we never got to see more. Wished she exhibited more genjutsu moves on the show and incorporated more badass poison moves in battle. But alas, she was never meant for more. However, when I saw how other worldly and powerful genjutsu by Sharingan users are (like how Itachi easily countered Kurenai’s, a known genjutsu expert)... It was the start of the steady decline towards extinction of standard genjutsu’s proficient use in battle.

If she would've added genjutsu, she'd legit be as tough of an opponent as Naruto and Sasuke. She'd store enough chakra to match their natural reserves, she'd have the ability to disable opponents without needing to risk herself, and if she did fight, the 100 healings mark would kick in if injured. That's a top 5 Shinobi in the world. Instead, she'd get beaten or pushed to a draw by mostly everybody on the series except like shino or sai.
up to her arc with sasori, she was known to be very strategic. similar to shikamaru, she doesn't dive into the fight unless she needs to break her ethics as a medic. her minor fights after that her and lady chiyo's fight against sasori made a fool out of her development. the only time it came back is her fight against kido in her novel.

For Sakura's sake, I sometimes like to pretend the series after Sasori's death didn't happen. They just didn't bother developing Sakura after that, and she really did get left behind. Leading up to that though, I was getting really hyped with her character development.

you are free to interpret what you want when you read this. But after reading it at the time, I frankly wished it would develop certain genjutsu skills. My feeling was that the author forgot about Sakura, because if not ... why did he write that? Also, the fact that she is a copy of Tsunade, without any differentiating element, makes her have a poor development if we consider that she is one of the main characters.
In this scene, Sakura is strong. And I love seeing her fight scenes. But that is not what I love about her. For me, out of all the characters in Naruto, she's more human. She love the boys in her team but she was also insecure of them. She had inferiority complex with Ino, her friend. She felt useless and weak, and she was. But she did not let that stop her. Thankfully, she met a good teacher, Lady Tsunade. She studied healing and also trained herself so she can defend herself and friends. She might not have that Power compared to Naruto and Sasuke, but it's just amazing how she is now the head of the medicine institute in Konoha. Ever since I was a kid, I see myself in her and I ASPIRE TO BE LIKE HER. I am now in my 3rd year of PreMed. Hoping I can proceed to Medicine in the future. Wish me luck!

Honestly, I feel like Sakura is underestimated for such stupid reasons. I actually like her as a character. She actually was really important too when it came to Sasukes growth. It may not have been ideal, but she was probably the team member they needed. Can you imagine if they had one of the other girls on the team? The dynamic and the way Naruto and Sasuke would have been, woukd have been different. Not even ino was as humble as Sakura, which is what Sasuke needed. She may not have made the progress that Sasuke and Naruto did, but she made good progress and something out of herself nonetheless. Her role is important in her own.

Imagine the potential if Kishimoto knew how to write female characters, the concept of a medic with super strength is badass.

Three, though her chakra control is among the best her taijutsu isn't. I don't remember what she was listed at in the databooks (themselves not necessarily canon) but I can't imagine it being higher than characters like Sasuke, Neji, or Hinata (the former established to be the best of team 7 at it, the latter examples specializing in taijutsu, in accordance with the abilities bestowed upon them.) Sakura could perhaps rival Tsunade, but that's still questionable considering Tsunade's massive life force and chakra (being both Senju and Uzumaki.) Ultimately, she would've perhaps being slightly below Kage level, which is p much fodder by the end of the series, even middle.

When I first saw Sakura’s Shippuden outfit, I got excited of the possibilities for her - new outlook, powers, and more.
After Sasori, we never got to see more. Wished she exhibited more genjutsu moves on the show and incorporated more badass poison moves in battle. But alas, she was never meant for more.
However, when I saw how other worldly and powerful genjutsu by Sharingan users are (like how Itachi easily countered Kurenai’s, a known genjutsu expert)... It was the start of the steady decline towards extinction of standard genjutsu’s proficient use in battle.

If she would've added genjutsu, she'd legit be as tough of an opponent as Naruto and Sasuke.
She'd store enough chakra to match their natural reserves, she'd have the ability to disable opponents without needing to risk herself, and if she did fight, the 100 healings mark would kick in if injured. That's a top 5 Shinobi in the world. Instead, she'd get beaten or pushed to a draw by mostly everybody on the series except like shino or sai.
up to her arc with sasori, she was known to be very strategic. similar to shikamaru, she doesn't dive into the fight unless she needs to break her ethics as a medic. her minor fights after that her and lady chiyo's fight against sasori made a fool out of her development. the only time it came back is her fight against kido in her novel.
