I envisioned this sanded and stained in a dark walnut color (the heart box as well) to bring out the grain of the beautiful wood. Understandably, you wanted to use your found materials to redo it. You certainly know what your doing. The lining was a lot of work. It goes to show, we all have our own ideas.......nice work Hollie!
Shelley yeah I thought the original look was cool and better I thought she was going to keep the brown color but we all have our own styles and ideas so what ever she did to the draw box still would have been cool but for me i would have kept the brown original.wood but in all fairness if I had seen that draw box at the 2nd hand shop I would probably buy that for sure and wouldnt give the draw box a second thought coz that's just the person I am lol even the little heart box was cute

Hollie, and Chris, so glad I "refound" your channel again. My phone had broke and I had to use my daughters old phone and used her youtube channel to resubscribe to my favorite channels. I had newly subscribed to you when my phone broke. You were at around 300 subs if i remember corectly. My account was 2kungfu2panda2 and my name is Diane L. I admire what you and Chris are doing, trash to treasure is something Ive always been good at and LOVE. I had comented on a couple of your first vids and you responded telling me I should find a friend who would be brave enough to go "treasure hunting" with me. Well I have found a friend who loves the same things I do and we have had the most fun we've ever had in our lives! Thank you for that sugestion! Hollie, Im so proud of you for quitting smokeing. Its not easy but its so worth it in the end. It will get better I promise you that. I smoked for around 20 years and have been smoke free for 18 now. I like what you did. In my honest and humble opinion I would've painted it rose gold and put a soft pink inside as the ring holder wraps. To me the silver cheapens it. It's wooden. Make it look like a million bucks!! Love you Hollie....

If you are going to do anything with wood in the future may I recommend that you use wood glue. It makes it strong and part of the rest of the wood. I've used it to fix the rail on the end of my bed. Wood glue is not that expensive. It does take a bit of time to set though, but once it does it will never come apart again with regular use.

That was a great job I was sitting here at the hospital doing a one-to-one taking care of a patient and watching What You video taped you guys are absolutely awesome I am a new follower and I look for your videos every chance I get I work night shift 7pmto7am so every chance I get which isn't very often I get to watch your videos so I sometimes when I get out of this place I'm so excited to sit down and have a couple of coffee and watch your videos it's become a routine of mine I only have certain favorite programs I don't watch TV because I don't have cable so I am a UA-camr I love to watch UA-cam shows and you guys are one of my favorite

Nice tutorial 😊I have a small tip though. When finishing using spray color or glue you should always turn the can over and spray until nothing is coming out of the can. That way you can be sure that you have emptied the spray nozzle.
