- We decided to sail around the world 6 years ago after hearing and reading cliché sailor stories about sailing to remote islands, eating the freshest sushi while underway, living off of what we catch and building epic bonfires on deserted beaches with other world travelers. It wasn’t until this last week that all of these things actually happened to us over the course of 2 days which will go down in our book as two of the best days of our cruising life!

My favorite thing about boating up to the San Juan Islands was finding those little ones with no one on them and just finding those spots you feel no one has ever been. I’m such an introvert and happy being alone too. Nothing like standing on the top of a boat or land where your the only one and you can see all around you smelling that ocean air. And getting rocked to sleep. I miss it. Hopefully someday I’ll see you both on the water. Once we get our own instead of my grandpas. Then we will have to come say hi. Big dreams here. Stay safe.

Paradise Guys - Paradise!
G’day, what an absolutely beautiful anchorage. The backwater channels were wicked gorgeous. What a stunning place to drop anchor. Also, it’s always great to be able to spend time with fellow cruisers. It’s also nice to jump in the dinghy to explore surrounding waterways and the island. You can usually find some pretty cool places. Sailing Atticus seems to have allowed both of you the opportunity to experience the indigenous people and their culture at many of the locations you dropped anchor at? Sailing has certainly provided an amazing opportunity to both my wife and I, the past 14 years. Together, we’ve been able to explore incredible locations, both islands & mainlands, meet amazing people and experience new, fascinating, culture(s). Sailing, especially full-time, living on your boat, definitely makes you appreciate the small things in life; and not take them for granted. You also learn not to allow, small, trivial issues, consume and interfere with your day. May you both be blessed with great weather, good health, and a safe passage! Cannot believe that the Panama Canal is so expensive after watching "Wind Hippie" transit the canal a few weeks back, they seem to have you over a barrel, especially having to hire all the warps and accommodate a "guide" for the transit.

One of the most beautiful places we’ve ever been to. Have a friend who keeps his boat at Red Frog Marina and had the good fortune to sail with him twice. Have you been to Monkey Island? Amazing unique experience to see monkeys and enjoy a five star meal in an incredible setting. Really enjoy your channel.

Stay safe cos you seem to be not far from where Sailing into Freedom took a direct lightening hit last month which blew a hole in the hull and wiped out almost all their electrics. Look after yourselves and that goes to everyone on the water🙏⛵️❤️
