How is it that the World does not know about you guys? You guys have it all- incredible talents in composition, originality, musicianship- every one of you. You may be labelled as "Art Rock", I think you guys are "very accessible Art Rock", damn good at it, and definitely genre-defying. A welcome blast of sonically laden fresh air. Though I have never seen you live(but definitely hope to), thank you for making music.
@@tomaslev2697 It has nothing to offer for those who want music to be diverse and challenging. Heard one song, you've heard them all. I fucking HATE it.
So glad that I discovered you guys in this lifetime.. Such a unique and rare sound. Looking forward to more and more music. Greetings and love from India.. :)
The world needs to know about Bent Knee. This is music at its peak. Recordings are perfect and somehow the live performances are somewhere beyond perfect. Can't wait to see you back in richmond!!
Hey Bent Knee...........You just hooked a 61 year old Rocker...............Love it all!! Nothing out there like you................You are headed for god things....I will be sharing..........
Being Human - These wonderful and amazing humans have such a distinct presence in their musical compositions and live performances. Those who experience their message are equally humbled and exalted. I'm am so grateful to have spent time with them. They really are an inspiration.
Wow. Just wow. JG Thirlwell posted this band as one of his favourites four fucking years ago! (I guess being 4 years behind JGT is probably better than average.) These people are fucking brilliant.
daaamn, just discovered this group right now by Fountainhead and really glad of that. always liked metal and jazz but this is totally insane, really feel the zappa here, hehehe sooo good!!
Very very very cool! Don't need a crystal ball to see big things happening for this band. Keep the family, the vibe and the chemistry going guys, and the world will soon catch up to you!
I hope can catch you live at least once in my life guys....I don't think it happens soon, but it would be amazing if you can visit Mexico once.....You guys rules!!!...
I've seen them in germany and they were my personal highlight on the whole Burg Herzberg festival! I hope they will come back to germany soon, Im really looking forward to it. Furthermore Ive had a chat with them after the gig and they were just as nice as they are musically ingenious.
BK is like my favorite band and still I haven't even got to the early stuff yet... it's like Christmas all over again. Pretty great recording sound-wise... I think I'm going to have to just watch WTL over and over before I can move on
One of the last shows i saw in 2019 before shows were put on hold in 2020. They are so damn good live and this might be the best recording I've seen of them
I came here almost by chance, you're amazing. Voices, musicians, songs, I love it all. It's a great discovery for me ! I can't wait to hear more from you guys !
Wow! What a way to open a show. I'm inspired as hell by this music. Bravo, team. See you in Dayton! Please play that first song. They all kick ass. Wow
This stuff is phenomenal. BTW did the drummer just play the opening lick from RES by Cardiacs at about 10:00? I would love to see you live in UK. Manchester would be good.
Please please please come to Paris, France (or nearby)! I've already pre-ordered your album (thanks, Steve Feigenbaum!) but live looks like something else.
I had to stop myself from clicking like after the first song already because I didn't want to judge based on only one song.. But you guys are amazing. Technically superb, amazingly creative and expressive. You deserve a much bigger audience. Greetings from the Netherlands. When is your world tour? ;)
Grayson Wilson-Cacciapalle haha, you're the second person on a Ben Levin related video to notice my profile. So to answer your question: Modular forms and elliptic curves! Infinite fire revolving around infinite parallels fractals of infinite reality, each cascading, gliding in an infinite wheel. Tell me the true nature of my reality!
Stunningly good, and bought both albums last month due to this. Cuneiform did a great job signing y'all. Here's hoping you can put up a show with songs from Say So.
I have fallen in love with this band. Anything they do live is beyond anything I've ever heard/seen before, and I'm fucking 60 now... They bring it ALL together. I do have a question though, WTF is Vince doing in a gas mask?
Awesome show, I especially liked the song in between Skin and Urban Circus. I should also mention the entire show was enhanced by Ben sporting a pair of zip-off pants, something which I used to get a lot crap for wearing. The general population just doesn't understand how they're the ultimate in utilitarian leg wear...
This jazz revival is so unique to northeast America. No one is doing this anywhere else... guess USA is still a driving force in culture. Meanwhile in Europe there's a rock revival going on. Hope we clash someday!
Musically they are absolutely fantastic. I think the reason why they have not exploded is because their style of music isn't easy to access for the average music listener. It's a bit niche to put it mildly, a bit like clowncore. Both utterly brilliant, but the masses like familiarity.
Bent Knee That's awesome news! I'll be sure to keep an eye out for you guys! I'd also love to take a trip out to see you guys, but I'm pretty busy at work and money is kind of on the tight side, so I'll probably just wait.
Y'all got some serious stage presence. Mmmmmight make it to the Denver show, but my wife is being mean and says we have stuff that week. >:( Just ordered a CD instead. That'll teach her.
Going to see them for the first time live next week, and I just can't help but feel a little trepidation...there's just no way they can actually sound this good live. This is either going to be slightly disappointing or life-changing.
@@JonathanGoslan Was not slightly disappointing. And since it was likely the last ever live show, definitely life changing. The only sad part was that they were so good, they overshadowed the main act. And the main act was amazing.

That's because the masses are neanderthalers, listening to hip hop instead..
@@ulfingvar1 calling someone neanderthal for listening to a specific genre is dumb. Hip-Hop has a lot to offer.
