Man I really appreciate you taking the time to make this video. It may not seem like a big deal to most but you probably prevented me from fucking my shit up fr. Thanks
Thanks man works great!! You saved me 175.All I did was order a key off Walmart. I got it cut at a flea market. And I swapped all the parts. Only took $25. They were going to charge me 200 for a new key everywhere I went
I changed the battery, checked it has 3v, the enclosure seems water resistance some hoe, but remote still not functioning, is that possible the electronic circuit not working? This is 2014 Camry with 200k miles, so to say remotes been used a lot. Any idea?
Ok I need some help here. I watched your video and ordered CR 2032. Was there a certain brand needed for my 2012 Toyota Camry? Because the ones I have are too thick to fit. Help please?!?
Hi, I don’t know if this might be helpful but 2032 is a different battery size. The one needed for Camry is 2016. Doesn’t matter which brand they all have the same battery dimensions.
This is a late reply but will leave this here in the event others come looking for this video. I just replaced the battery in mine and the buttons worked without any need to reprogram. I think the only fobs that might require reprogramming are the newer 'keyless' fobs.
Yes no need to reprogram. Newer fobs yes, if it’s remote start and push button start usually needs to re-program for the CPU. But I will say my 2012 Toyota Camry 2.5 L 6speed 2AR - FE. I recommend this vehicle to anybody and everyone! Be safe out there✌️
CR2016. Respectfully, a Google search for the battery size would’ve taken less effort than complaining about his oversight. If he can go through the hassle of creating a video, the least you can do is take the last step for yourself. Or maybe create a better video for us all yourself? Literally anything other than how you handled it would’ve been more productive; including not commenting at all. 🤷♂️
Thanks so much for the tutorial! You saved me a dealership trip and expense. I changed out the battery for $10 and completed the task.
You're welcome. I am glad it was helpful.
Amazing, replaced my batteries within minutes following this tutorial. Saved me a dealership visit with a price tag of $200. Thank you
I looked at several demonstrations of the battery replacement and this one was the most clear.

2016 not 2032 please edit your comment so people don't buy the wrong battery like I just did.
Did you have to get the key reprogrammed or did it work after the new battery?

Would be nice if you indicated the size or type of battery
CR2016.

So my key was working intermittently, changed the battery, now it does nothing. Is there a place online you can buy a new key cheaper that the dealer?
I'm in the same boat with my 2017 Camry LE. Did you find any answers?
same here, relaced both key with new bat, but none working. Any idea?
Easy to open, but very difficult to put battery back in its place
Now it doesn’t with the car, did yours work afterwords? T.I.A
Yes. It worked. You may want to stop by your local Toyota dealer's parts counter and let them have a look at it.
thank you
You're welcome
I changed it in both keys but one still not working
The size of battery required is a CR2016
