#TopSongs1974 #Best1974 #Hits1974
Great year for me I was young and going to have my daughter, loved the music 🎶 ❤
As I wrote, and posted for the Top Songs of 1973; 1974 had soul, heart, and plenty of rhythm. Also, the 1970s music has a message, story, or an idea that is communicated; that's the way it is with any very good music. The nineteen seventies are large part of sending a message, and simply playing great music! Also, 1970s music was mostly about the real world.
Examples of Love Unlimited Orchestra - "Love's Theme" is simply wonderful, relaxing, and one of favourite instrumental tunes. Just as Crocodile Rock in 1973, Benny and the Jets by Elton John, 1974 is a work of art; energetic, and tells a story. Then there is "The Way We Were", by Barbara Streisand, another wonderful song, tune about the real world.
🙋♀️I was 3 and LOVED ThE LOCOMOTION!! Nightly performance in grandma's livingroom. Lol. I thought I was GREAT.😊✌🎶

The Top 10's are based on the USA Billboard Charts. 'Band On The Run' was a No.1 Hit, but it was 'only' the 22nd Best Selling Single of that Year. 'Waterloo' was a No.6 Hit. It was 49th for the Year...
What about Waterloo by ABBA? They won Eurovision with it that year

E killer queen
The Top 10's are based on the USA Billboard Hot 100. 'Killer Queen' was only a No.12 Hit, in that Chart. It was not in the Top 100 of the Year, because most of its USA Sales were in 1975. It was Billboard's 78th Best Seller of 1975...
