    Ahad and dananeer were so unexpected as a couple but their chemistry turned out so electrifying. They are THE most perfect casting for an office romance with grumpy sunshine trope tbh. The way they balance each other's strengths, dananeer has that natural bubblyness in her and ahad's sophistication, aura and charisma of a ceo who also has a dark past, his portrayal is so nuanced yet so subtle. And when they are together in a scene the contrast is so satisfying. Her look of love is so full, open, lively like stars in her eyes and his look of love is deep, wistful, hesitant. Just so magical.

    MSM: I can say that it is the best drama on airing (that I am watching). The scene I loved the most was when Roshi was sitting on the couch and still hoping for Talha to come that's why she wasn't changing her outfit. The only mistake I noticed was the shades of Mahi's outfit, earlier she told that she likes light and cool tones colors but end up wearing dark mustard yellow and red. But I have to say this drama is very well directed and written.

  • @mmpiali
    @mmpiali 4 години тому +32

    Meem Se Mohabbat: Such a beautifully written male lead after quite some time. Talha has faced peronal tragedy, but the portrayal is far from depressing and gloomy. He was ready to marry and still take care Mohid, but he has got a jolt from his ex and now rethinking this perspective that how would any girl willlingly accept his situation.
    Age difference is also addressed beautifully who had issues with it
    Personally, i never thought of it to be an issue as it was always a given that Mohid wasn't Talha's son.

    • @aashiidrisi7239
      @aashiidrisi7239 3 години тому +7

      Agree...he must be around 26-27 cuz in the flashback he says that sabeeka and I have just started our career, he was probably 23-24, and 3 years have passed so the age difference is not much.
      Honestly I was a bit skeptical about the pairing at first not because of the age factor but generally....
      But talha and roshi have completely grown on me. Ahad and Dananeer are making a great pair, their chemistry is excellent.

    • @mmpiali

      @@aashiidrisi7239 Yes i know what you mean. Ahad Dananeer s is an unconventional pairing not cos of the age factor but may be as personalities. Ahad also definitely looks v mature for his age while Dananeer looks even younger than her real age. So now that they have addressed this point a lot of people will find comfort. And also like you rightly said it's Talha's family business and he must have joined the business soon after be completed his education. So yes must be around 26-27 now. The practical conversations is what works here the most. So logical so real. Talha's apprehensions are well captured. Yes MSM is growing on us. I think it's the audiences journey as much as the character's

      @@mmpiali totally agree with you... I think there's something about Farhat ishtiyaq's writing... As hasaan rightly said in one of the discussions, her dramas take time to grow on viewers. I stopped watching it initially after 2-3 episodes and was just interested in talha and mohid's interactions, however after roshi's accident I've started loving it. It has become my comfort watch. Ahad shines as Talha and Dananeer is equally impressive.

    • @mmpiali
      @mmpiali Годину тому +1

      @@aashiidrisi7239 Yes true I used to skip Roshi's portions and only watched Talha Mohid track. I think the office incident of Roshi was the turning point and plus Dananeer acted well in those scenes. And then how Talha handled the whole thing was a really a piece of excellent writing supported by good director and Ahad is just brilliant as Talha. I hope it stays like this right till the end. Two dramas I am really enjoying these days are QeJ and MSM.

    Aamna ji is correct. Though Talha said "ghair zimmedar, immature and kam umar ki ladki" and the stress in the last adjective. He was not finding fault with her. He was thinking about not dragging her down.
    The way he mentioned that last adjective was awesome.... So was the internal monologue of Talha.
    Also hassan ji was also correct about the need for the baggage of Talha this justifies his reaction to his own affect on Roshi
    Also aamna ji i m of the opinion that though Roshi is growing up , but more when she with Talha and Mohid than when she is with her own house coz there is a Lil one.
    Also the monologue about Talha about mohabbat might be understood as he is trying to convince not to fall hinself completely in mohabbat woth her
    I too felt Talha should have seen her in the shaadi ka dress and hairdo❤ she was pyaari
    Very so much enjoyable episode and story.

    I initially quit Meem Se Mohabbat after two episodes due to Dananeer’s character but picked it up again after episode 10 when her portrayal became more nuanced.
    The last two episodes were exceptionally well-crafted. Talha’s character showed remarkable emotional intelligence-acknowledging both his own baggage and Roshi’s feelings yet consciously avoiding leading her on.
    Roshi’s final scene was particularly striking. Sitting alone in an empty room, she symbolized both loss and realization-grieving her sister while coming to terms with her emotions for Talha. His absence, despite promising to attend, hinted that her feelings ran deeper than a mere crush.
    I’m intrigued by how their story will unfold, especially given the age gap, which Talha sees as a boundary. The drama’s portrayal of a protagonist who is mature and thoughtful with emotions is refreshing. Looking forward to where this journey leads!

    We talk so much about the English accents and how the elite should have better pronunciations, but how we don’t care when someone doesn’t recite the Quran or even bismillah right. That’s why I loved the janaza scene in Duniyapur, the actor perfectly recited the dua with perfect pronunciation. We should work on this more. It’s our Deen, do better.

    Dastak: You people were not able to read between the lines from KIRAN’s mum & Dad’s perspective. The mother in a jiffy understood that kiran was subjected to violence as she also dealt with her husband’s cold behavior towards her since the start of her own marriage and her father also got a reminiscence of his past of how he treated someone else’s daughter when a girl came into his household /in his life and how he is still not very warm and loving with his wife , basically he is getting the taste of his own medicine. You shall sow what you reap .
    The father was taking heavy steps when he was climbing upstairs, there was fatigue and exhaustion in his walk , he had just realised that he has lost a battle, no matter however good lawyer he is in the court of law, in real life he has lost badly and now he realizes that he has two more daughters and he has a long way to go ( he is getting ready for the worse) but the stubborn person that he is he cannot accept his defeat infront of his wife and BIL that’s why he asked her to bring tea upstairs.

      @asmazafar9830 Actually, from SMD, we learn a lot about this production house. When a project brings in high TRPs, they post about it and brag. But when a drama faces heavy criticism, they sideline it and try to recover by dragging episodes and reducing their duration. Meanwhile, we end up questioning the actors about why they chose to do that drama in the first place. Geo is actually the one channel that never celebrates its actors but always exposes them to criticism from the audience.

    Hamza debuted in a fairly negative role in Raqeeb Se. But I agree with Amna that he needs to do some more varied roles before the verdict is out. I was quite surprised how he was accepted as a positive romantic lead. This is one of the best bit about PK dramas - you are not immediately slotted and typecast into a certain type of role. Actors get opportunities to play both negative and positive characters, which is great.

      I think of Ali Raza, where most of his roles were negative from Bhool ja Ay Dil, to mohobat Gumshuda, to the spoilt brat initially in Noor Jahan, to the violent impulsive son in Duniyapur, and even a greyish character in Iqtidar, but he is doing justice to those characters, so much so that people didn’t think it was Ali in those earlier roles.,In Dastak he gets to be the goodie from the onset! These bunch of younger actors ( Humza, Khushal, Ali,)are a force to be reckoned with,hope they choose more meatier more challenging roles in future projects! Likewise for the younger female actors.

    The scene where Talha is listening to Zard Patton Ka Bun's OST is completely intentional by HUM TV or the drama editors most probably. Because Ahad was pretending to be listening to music or maybe he was actually listening to some random music while shooting that scene. But it is the channel or editor who has shown the audience as in Ahad is listening to Sajal's drama OST. This is unfortunately a tactic to put up a show for the Sahad fans as HUM TV is currently cashing them out.

But now I’m sticking with it fully for Sohai and Tanveer sahab who plays her father. Stunning, beautiful performances by both. The way Tanveer sahab acted in that scene when sohai opens up about the reality of her marriage. The quick blinking of the eyes to veil his emotions, the defeated walk up the stairs, it was so incredibly well done. I believe they were going for the "opposites attract" trope, juxtaposing Talha's somber, brooding personality with Roshi's sunny disposition. But the childlike behavior makes her more of a sister to Mohid, than a mom.

    SMD: I fail to understand why Ammar fell in love with Daniya at the first place. It’s so illogical. It’s not like Daniya was Ammar’s girlfriend or love, but he got married to Sadaf to whom he doesn’t like. And then it would’ve made a bit sense that when he heard that the love of his life(Daniya) was back in Pakistan, he went to her to be with her.
    But no… the scenario is the complete opposite! Ammar didn’t even used to like Daniya! And he was literally eating poison for Sadaf, because he loved her so much. Then why did he decide to cheat with her? There’s literally no reason for him to cheat!

    MSM- I really enjoy this drama and always look forward to it. I love Roshi’s bubbly Character & now it’s growing on us. Dananeer is so cute! However, I can’t get over that she is so Dil Phank lol - she quickly falls in love with everybody whether a neighbour, colleague or a boss. I don’t know, her love come across immature and not genuine, that’s why I agree with a guy as he finds her immature. but that’s just my opinion. besides that it’s such a fun cute drama.

    Sunn Mere Dil: 51:31, it meant that whether Sadaf's 'physical presence' is of any significance to Bilal in his life now or not, is questionable, because his love persisted & didn't stagger despite her not choosing him. It's his love for her that was so fulfilling, the emotion, whatever love is for him & hence stirred in him, it was so 'present' & 'unwavering' for him in his being, that now Sadaf's physical presence or absence doesn't even need to dictate that - showing to us how deep, unconditional & freeing Bilal's love for her is. Woh ho nah ho, woh 'hai'. Have you heard Tum Se Hi from Jab We Met? Please notice its lyrics. 🫡

    Sun Mere Dil: you are correct that it’s just first talaq, husband gave it in writing, Sadaf doesn’t need to sign for it to be talaq as it’s husband who initiates talaq. Her signing would more be to give to court so legally they’ll be divorced. She should be in Iddat. Not flirting, not dating, even if she doesn’t want to reconcile, there are religious etiquettes of conduct. This simply shows that Sadaf is being portrayed as a loose person or that writer has no idea about religious aspect.

    SMD: #Hasan I feel BAs dialogue made sense because it implied his love is so honest and unconditional for sadaf that her presence is not required neither he needs to get into a relationship with her to prove his love.. basically ek tarfa ishq and let go in love. And bilal is doing right by maintaining a a distance from sadaf. We know he comes from a broken family and for him love and commitment happens only once. He loves sadaf but even after doing so much for her family she took a decision in haste and got married to ammar even though she was unsure about her feelings. Now suddenly she has realised her love for BA so he feels maybe she is again unsure or is in emotional conflict and wants to give her time to be completely sure about her love for Bilal. There should have been proper scenes to show gradual build up of sadafs love towards bilal instead of this sudden obsession. I am not able to comprehend this and I have no sympathy left for sadaf because she is so fickle minded. At this point i honestly feel Bilal and sadaf should go seprate ways and just remain as well wishers for each other. And Ammar is so irritating..he is only crying from last 15 episodes..and that friend uff itna over reaction..i thought they are divorced but still they are showing scenes ammar trying to reconcile and this will continue for next 4-5 episodes which means again less screen time of BA. #Hasan good job for questioning the producers.

    • @fayzahabeeb4093
      @fayzahabeeb4093 Годину тому

      Yes exactly this is what Bilal Abdullah meant and the reason he is maintaining the distance. He is not sure of Sadaf's true feelings/love for him. He even says that I guage someone's love to the amount of hate one has, and Sadaf is shocked as it was true. She did love Ammar sincerely.

    Happy Anniversary! Meem say Mohabbat is an easy go drama and it has that Haseena Moin Vibe that it makes you feel nostalgic. This one is kinda similar to Ankhahi with a lot of characters, a boss similar to Shakeel and the girls’ character is somewhat similar to Shehnaaz Sheikhs character. Out of Ankahi, Tanhaayian and Dhoop Kinaray …… Ankahi was the most entertaining one that was often watched on VHS tape on our house.
    By the way it would be nice if you could review Ankahi, Tanhayian and Sunehray Din and may be some other old ptv classics. Everyone is going to learn so much from those reviews. I recently watched some episodes and clips and realized their dialogue delivery, comic timing, accents and est styling was top notch. Very realistic but appropriate to their characters.

    Guys firstly I would like to correct you guys regarding Meem Se Mohabat that it’s dada dadi, not nana Nani 😂 they are Rishi’s father’s parents so they are dada dadi😊 then to answer your question regarding Iddat and all is that In SMD the scenario is that one divorce has been given by Ammar and as per Islam it doesn’t matter whether Sadaf accepted it or not as it’s a one way thing coming from the husband’s side. Iddat period starts once divorce us finalized, I-e, 3 divorces given and no chance of reconciliation is left and divorce is announced or registered then own wards a woman has to start the iddat period so in the drama iddat period hasn’t started yet!!!

    Hassan, Dananeer's acting was absolutely over the top initially. Jumping on the sofa and throwing chips, eating in a weird exaggerated manner , doing dumb kiddish things all in the name of "full of life" girl was definitely annoying. She is a very good actor but a great actor would be able to convey being "full of life" without becoming annoying but she's still young and hopefully learning as an actor. Even now I find her scenes OTT when she's with Mohid. Kissing him loudly non stop and jumping around needlessly with him all make me pretty uncomfortable but otherwise she is growing UP as a character. Meem say mohabbat has definitely grown on me because she has become less annoying
