- Learn how to make your taskbar transparent on Windows 11. If you don't want anything interrupting your wallpaper, you can make the taskbar transparent.
Windows 11 has it's on 'Transparent' taskbar feature but it's not completely transparent and hence, might not serve the purpose.
For this one, we will need to install a third-party application from Microsoft Store known as 'Lively Wallpaper'.
You can use it to customize your wallpaper and even change how your taskbar appears.

There was an update about this app that you can no longer make the taskbar transparent. It keeps saying "The feature development is on hold"

it's was actually a windows update, none of the apps I used seem to work sadly

The Developer of the Programm set the transparent taskbar function on hold, because of some Windows System changes it does not work anymore. Also other programs to get the taskbar transparent do not work anymore on Win 11. Status April 8th 2023

RoundedTB should fix that for you if you use the advanced settings and set the top margin to 1.

is there a way to make the text on the transparent taskbar reactive to the background because sometimes it is hard to see what time it is when the background is the same color as the text from the taskbar

It looks like the feature development is on hold now. I used translucent taskbar on my other W11 computer a year ago. I guess I'll have to try that again on my newer one.

when he enters the taskbar settings at the beginning of the video, you can see taskbar alignment and you set it to centre. hope it helps
If you right, click on your taskbar and go to taskbar settings. Scroll all the way down to taskbar behaviors. The top choice will be taskbar. Alignment, click it select center
idk about everyone else but its automatic for me when i downloaded windows 11

hey, amazing app thanks. the "clear" settings work, the only problem is there's still a thin line showing (the top edge stroke of the taskbar) any tips? It's like the top border of the tasbar that the "clear" effect failed to remove

It works, but it makes all the important icons (Time, date, volume, Wifi, etc) at the bottom right disappear unless you hover your mouse over them.

I am having a silly issue. My objective is simply make my taskbar staying there. And I do off-select 'Automatically hide the taskbar' and tried restarting explorer and restarting computer, but it does not work. Any help appreciated. thanks

Guys if the taskbar isn't working anymore, uninstall the two new updates BECAUSE they are security updates. Once you uninstall them your transparent taskbar should work again.

@@PramaanGill Nahh bro, as long as you want the Taskbar to be clear you can't update for now. Idk if Windows will ever change this issue so it's really up to you how long you wanna wait but yuh you can't update until the Windows creator does something about this with a future update.

its not working anymore, due to creator mentioned that the updates of window implementation is hard for him to maintain, which is not working for now.
