‼️Same! But I really hate how everyone just lets Clarissa say you murdered your brother who died in a tragic drowning acciden! Like no one even corrects her. That is unforgivable. She told the entire town you murdered your brother and no one stands up for you. And even the main character is like don't think of me like that jonas. Like oh my God she did not murder her brother! It was a terrible accident! And Clarissa is pure evil for saying she did. That's why I traded Clarissa to the monsters lmao she deserved it the world is a better place without her in it. I was mad that I couldn't just leave the island once I traded clarissa. And then Nona the shy quiet girl says you murdered your brother too and now you're going to murder Clarissa just like you did him. And I'm like okay fine I wish I had let the monsters possess you too! I didn't make Clarissa hate me. She's been walking around telling everyone I murdered my brother and being extremely cruel and hateful to me and what I'm just supposed to take it and be kind back. No that's what the bullies want you to do. They want you to turn the other cheek and not strike back at them. I hate Clarissa and I wish she had stayed in the other dimension 😂

I just realize something, when you are collecting the Adler notes the reason for the Kanaloa sinking is because Maggie got a distress signal and thought that it was external forces messing with the radio. She looked at her guidebook and it said to alert nearby ships to attack the source of the signal, then the USS Roy Walter attacked the Kanaloa.
But now my question is why did the Kanaloa send the distress signal? Also the government immediately covered up the incident but then Maggie notes that while at Francis Salter's wedding (one the ghosts you can speak to) she met a weapons technician who was working on the Roy Walter right before the incident happened, which she thought was odd. Which leave's me wondering if the government purposely sent out a distress signal from the Kananloa making it look like a radio jam, sending out the Roy Walter to sink the Kanaloa so they could see what the affects of the nuclear reactor were on people? Or maybe on the Kanaloa something went wrong thus the distress signal and then the accidental attack?
Just came to me after all these years. I'm really hoping that Lost Signals explains this further and hopefully save Alex from the time loop.

Just played lost signals... but only 1 time so I only know a single ending. Alex is safe but the new character we play gets stuck in the loop (we'll at least I sent her to get stuck while saving others) 😢. I think I'm gonna play it again...

In my ending I made up with Clarissa, I mean not friends but not enemies either. Michael was not broght back, Nona and Ren did not stay togheter, I accepted Jonas as my brother and I got back to school.

I love this game so much. I really hope in Lost Signals there might be a secret ending that can save the Ghosts and close the loop entirely. At the same time maybe that would cheapen the story as a whole so I don’t know. Whatever happens, I know it’ll be good!

i just played this game and it was sooo trippy. i was so unsatisfied with the ending i got and i was left with soooo many questions, but in a good way. the way it leaves you wondering is so good. such an interesting game, and the voice acting and dialogues were so pleasant as well.

20:39 we know for a fact there are different timelines. And the fact that it speaks of it as a young country. I really think this radio frequency is from a different timeline where we Lost World War 2.

The cave graffiti about not/seeing the dog, the flashing visions of the black dog, and the ghost saying "fetch" to Alex. I've played this 3 times and I can't figure it out...what's the significance of the dog??

I think it's tied to the follow-up game. On Jesse Cox's channel, he has a video with audio from the new game that mentions a situation in which man or dog has been run-over

Man, I remember when I was binging JackSepticEye and he played this. I was absolutely dumbfounded about the supernatural part that I never comprehend even with help of other videos.
JackSepticEye did a really good series but he never tried to understand the actual truth and mystery of this game

Man, I cried multiple times when I played this game. The writing and the story is just that good. Still waiting for OXENFREE 2 by the way, I only hope that Netflix doesn't ruin it, just like what they did to the re-release Netflix mobile version. Okay I'm going to rant a bit here, but WTF man, you used to be able to buy the game for full on mobile before the Netflix acquisition, now you have to be subscribed to Netflix to even play it, It's bulls**t I don't even use Netflix, I never gonna. And I don't have any other gaming device besides my phone, so yeah, it sucks.

@@ovenheating9482 I'm talking about the mobile version. Since Netflix owns them now, you're required to have a Netflix account to even play it, when you used to be able to pay upfront *once* and just play it without a monthly Netflix subscription. That is before the Netflix acquisition, now I and many other people have to pay for a service we don't want nor need like Netflix, to just play video games. Now that is just scummy anti consumer practice! I don't even use Netflix! And I'll never use it because of the previously mentioned stuff. And it's personal now, their scummy practice has affected me personally, and I hate them! Good thing I've managed to pirate the game.

And keep in mind, I don't own any other decent gaming device other than my phone. So I don't really have any alternative here. It's a shame too, since I heard other platforms (like yours Nintendo) don't get mistreated so badly like us mobile users. I'm not saying that other platforms should get the same bad treatment, I'm just saying that out of everyone, we're (mobile users) the one that gets turbo f**ked! Just because we're too poor to afford any other gaming device, let alone a Netflix subscription.

I am Gen x this game freaked me out because of the name alone.. Hide and seek as kids we yelled " olly olly oxen free!" And that means come out we are all free. Considering the story ,that is freaky.

@@lkanetydo you ever actually get out of the loop? I've played two times through each with different endings. Im on my third run now. On the first run I got everyone off the island but everyone was broken by it. Clarissa ended up still being rude and worked at a boutique or something not making much money. Ren took off to California for school Nona went somewhere and Jonas stayed in his hometown with Alex. The story looped back around to us going back to the island as if it never happened with only the ghost remembering the previous run. Decisions I made in my previous run seem to have been shown through the mirrors when Alex would talk to herself.
The second run there were a few differences in the gameplay that I noticed. Like when Ren "drowned" and it got to the bridge part with Nona explaining what happened it showed Ren laying on the rock and Ren falling from the bridge on the first run. On my second run it showed Ren on the rock and showed Nona as the one who fell from the bridge. I sacrificed Clarissa to save everyone else. After that we were back on the boat headed home. Nobody had any memory of Clarissa or who she was besides Alex. We ended up sitting at a gas station with just Jonas Ren and Alex. Nobody else showed so they decided they would not go to the island this year which I thought would have been what ended the loop. But as Alex is looking at the photograph explaining what happened to us all after that night she loops around "forgetting" everything and explaining they are all about to go to the island for a yearly event which restarts the loop.
Is there actually a way out or is that the perpetual loop that sje will never get out of? Maybe will get different outcomes for each run but will always come back to the island eventually.
This is where my third run starts and I think ill get a different ending. I pushed Nona away whenever Alex and Jonas first found her in the woods. She told Alex to stay away and to stay still and I did not. I kept pushing forward until Nona took off running and would not speak with us any longer. I've yet to find Nona again on the map and am curious what will happen when I do.
I actually just finished this game on my switch. So excited to see this! ☺️

I just now found this game so im a little late. But im loving it so far and am excited to try the second version.
Im guessing for the endings theres 4 total? Theres usually 3 choices for a reply with each choice being a different color. One green, one gray and one brown.
If you go through choosing the same color for every reply would you get the different ending for each one? And would the surprise 4th ending be one you get by choosing replies in the correct order?
Ive got two different endings so far. One where i saved everyone and we ended up going back to the island. The other where i sacrificed Clarissa and we ended up at the gas station deciding we would not go back to the island. Alex is looking over the photos explaining what happened to everyone over time when she suddenly changes and goes back into the loop saying they are about to go to the island for a yearly get together.
Nona and Ren have yet to date at all in any of my endings and Clarissa has either been sacrificed or stayed mean and angry.
In my ending we went back because I sacrificed myself ren and Nona aren’t dating and Clarissa became nice but it feels off because I sacrificed myself without hearing out the ghost when they were warning me about being trapped or whatever and when we were on the boat back there was like that glitching effect so. But anyways it was literally traumatising idk why they still go every year 😭
@@eee-ht7pk i ended up getting another ending where Ren and Nona got together. Alex's brother came back to life and was still dating Clarissa for awhile. Jonas had just became a new friend in the group but we still ended up going back to the island.
I'm on the second game now. Oxenfree lost signals. It's pretty good.
My only complaint about this game is the loading. It breaks immersion and cuts off dialog. If the map was seamless, it would be perfect in my opinion.

This game is so great. But I’m not gonna lie every time I play I want to slap Clarissa. She is so rude and I understand she is hurt. But like Alex is Mike’s sister and loved her brother and like she would never purposely kill her brother and it bothers me so much that Clarissa would insinuate that.

Save Michael, sacrifice Clarissa. She reveals her true colors after Mike's death, so she deserves to be Thanos Snapped.

Saved everyone else didn't bring Michael back or get non and Ren to date but I did get to the gas station scene where she hears herself on the radio saying not to enter the cave. Nobody else remembered Clarissa besides Alex so I guess that's a good thing lol. I'm going to comtinue to go through a few more times to see what i can find though and what endings I can get.

So we all know that the new part is going to get released soon, and if anyone has watched its promos and trailers they do know that Riley also opens up the triangle thing
But
We can see in one of the trailers that Riley and one of her friends open like a circular gate, different from the triangle ones, that kinda make a gateway to enter the past

Does anyone remember that one particular radio signal that we can hear in that one instance?
Idk I may be wrong, and idk if I’m the only one who listens to like every possible radio signals that we get whenever we tune into something but I remember this one specific radio signal that we received in which we could hear 3 people talking, 1 girl and 2 guys, and, in the Oxenfree part 2 the main cast has 3 characters from the present (riley and her 2 guy friends) and 1 from the past (maggie adler) and i remember them saying like “don’t step in that it’s dangerous!” And then the girl saying “its ok see? One foot in and then two and…I’m fine” something like this
So, what if, Alex tuned into future and heard them talking? Just a theory, bcs I remember in one of the endings where the present Alex warned one of her other universes past self to not board the ferry thru the radio.

But even after getting the best ending where you know Alex gets to warn herself, still the game says continue the timeline? Like umm isn't it supposed to be over. I got the ending where I prevented Alex from going to the island all together
Yea the first time I played it I got everyone off the island but Michael was still dead and Ren and Nona never got together.
The second time I played I sacrificed Clarissa and we ended up at the gas station. Alex hears her warning to herself on the radio and they make the decision to not go back to the island getting pizza instead. Ren and Nona still never dated and Michael was still dead.
When Alex starts looking over the photographs she gets back into the loop and goes from explaining what happened to everyone to saying they are all about to meet up at the island. She doesn't even realize she got caught in a loop again and goes about it as normal.
I'm on my third run now and the messages I left in the second run are showing through the third one. On my second run Alex was transferred to the other side of the mirror and I was able to make changes to what Alex says to herself. Those changes are showing on my third run through and now Alex says whatever I picked. I'm unsure if I picked the correct ones lol.

I got to where I scarified clarissa and her brother stayed and the step brother was just a friend of Ben and she didn’t really talk to him all the time and Nona and Ben didn’t become a couple ever
