Suggestion - Merch companies should start doing show lanyards. If people use them for office IDs, they are in an environment where people may have the disposable income to buy theater tix. It’s portable advertising in a professional setting. You can’t wear show T-shirts or hoodies to most offices, but show lanyards should be acceptable. Water cooler chat could get started with a lanyard. Anyway, just a suggestion .
@@itskatharinequinn Hope they do it. I would buy one from favorite shows. Can alternate with different color schemes with whatever you might be wearing on any given day. Or an Elf one at Christmas for example. Sunset Blvd black with red lettering would certainly work for most office attire. I imagine a Wicked one would sell well. Not doing it is a missed opportunity.
I love your content. Just can’t relate to the love of Orlando. I hate that airport, hate the weather.. also not a Disney person. I lived in LA on two occasions and didn’t connect with it either. However have soo many friends that live there and whenever I visit, I just love it. The food and the weather speak for itself. Silver Lake is cute too.
MCO is...a journey, for sure lol. And i get it! Orlando gets a ton of hate and eyerolls, so I always steel myself when I share my weird love for the place. I love and find it fascinating that when you lived in LA you werent a fan but have come to love it as a visitor! Sometimes treating home like a tourist is key, isn't it?

I think it’s so funny to hear about your view of Orlando, I live in Orlando but not on the cutie Disney side, so I forget that we have cute areas towards Winter Park and the Parks. I think Orlando and LA both suffer from the fact that they are so new that there isn’t any history, but that’s also just for me bc I’ve lived in places with very rich history, so Orlando feels like a baby city
It's so valid! And it is. I think I also romanticize the ease--I'm from Dallas so I'm really used to big suburban life with cars and trunks and groceries and warmth. And sometimes I crave the exact OPPOSITE of NYC, even though my soul, spirit, and energy are SO much happier here 80% of the time.
As a Los Angelino I disagree with you - there are a long list of places you may have missed. One big difference between LA and Orlando is we live in a Blue State, which matters now more than ever.

Is it something that gets posted to UA-cam or is it on a different platform? Does a particular social media platform work best for Broadway writers large or is it show dependent?
THIS MONTH! Exact date TBD but will be able to share within the next 2 weeks :) Lead time for content for shows is anywhere from same day to months in advance--just depends on if it's a time relevant trend or evergreen! And for writers? All are useful in different ways! TikTok for song discovery, IG for community, YT for BTS
