Learn how to craft with the Cricut and see the step-by-step in Design Space. The Maker was my first real crafting machine. And it took a lot of learning on my own to figure things out. So let me save you some time and come make fun things with me. My promise is to do all the research and show you all the secret tips! There will not be any editing to leave out any secrets and magically have a finished product.

Omg... this is what I do. I did it one time when I started by mistake and seen that it was much easier.
Such a great hack!
Wow really going to try this!!!
Please do and let me know how it goes!!
For the hair to have less carrier sheet around add an offset
Great idea! Thanks for sharing! 👍🏻👍🏻🙂
Thanks for watching!
Do you have a video explaining your settings or showing the cut process? I have a Maker. I’m not following how this is done?
I have a more detailed video on this hack coming out soon. Stay tuned!
Yeah I watched this thinking I was going to learn how to do it! Disappointed TBH
is there a way to make it easier of highly detailed stencils doing the opposite of what you show here? ie the lines are the weeded part only not the inside bits? would it work if I then put down transfer tape over the part left on the mat an transfer it to the transfer tape from the mat using your method for stencils? I wonder if the mat being sticky would make it too difficult. any tips?
I have tried that and it didn't go very well. Its possible but tricky!!
I absolutely love this hack, I did this owl on my Cricut Explore Air 2 and it took about an hour to cut! How long did it take on the Cricut 3? Also I put the HTV on a new green mat so it wouldn't move, but had a hard time getting the leftover off the mat. Thanks for the help.
About the same amount of time. I use a large scraper to get the pieces off the mat....
How do you set it up in your cricut to cut out all those pieces instead of the outline?
What settings did you use to cut completely through the HTV I would love to try it. TIA
I used the glitter cardstock setting! You can get all the details here: www.theuselesscrafter.com/tips-tricks-hacks/amazing-no-weed-vinyl-hack
@@TheUselessCrafter Thank you so much I really appreciate it
is there a way to pull the pieces that are on the mat to create another image but with the weeded part? it looks just as cool also as a design too.. especially if all the pieces left are all there and not missing. Is that possible? Like is there a way to transfer what is on the mat, to another transfer medium so you can iron it on another shirt? If you get what I am saying :D
I am working on this now! Stay tuned!
I was thinking the exact same thing
A great hack! One suggestion you could try, maybe copy and cut apart the design to remove the piece(s) you would lose in over cutting, and cut the “lost” pieces in another pass to add to the design. It’s way easier to just weed a small amount than the whole thing!!
Great suggestion!
Did you lay the HTV on the opposite side before cutting it?
If i have a detailed image I want to do but when i press cut it shows as just the full image and no details, How can i upload with details to cut?
Hi there! I'm not sure I understand your question. Are you using an SVG file with a transparent background?
Please show how you do this hack.
I over cut the design by cutting on the Glitter Cardstock setting so the Cricut would apply "too much" pressure than what you would normally cut HTV with. I hope that makes sense!
@@TheUselessCrafter I think doing a video of a project, beginning to end, would clear up a lot of confusion for people. Just a suggestion.
can you make this work on permanent vinyl?
I think so! I'm going to try it...stay tuned! 🙂
I’m still fairly new, what do you mean by “overcut”?
Rather than cut on the HTV setting, I cut on the Glitter Cardstock setting so the Cricut would apply "too much" pressure than what you would normally cut HTV with. I hope that makes sense!
@@TheUselessCrafter makes perfect sense, thank you for taking the time to respond so quickly 😊
Thanks for this but I think it would’ve been more helpful if you actually showed the process from beginning to end instead of just explaining it. I know what you’re talking about on how to do this from your fb post, but I was expecting an actual process from start to finish in this video when I clicked on it but it’s basically jst a video of your post... jst my opinion...
Thank you for your feedback. This project is spread out over a couple videos. Another will be released today.

I still am waiting for the actual steps before I can credit the hack!

went through 15min without showing how it is done?
I hope you got some good information out of it. Thank you for watching!
I dont understand it
Happy to answer any specific questions you might have! 🙂
