JASHIPUR MATH | MAYURBHANJ MIRROR | EPISODE-48

Jashipur Math is a mysterious math whose history is 800 years old. This place is a unique combination of Mythology, history and belief. It is related to the original tribe of Mayurbhanj Bathudi community. According to historians there were 24 jamindaris in mayurbhanj during starting era of Bhanj dynesty. Among these 4 were led by Bathudi tribes. According to the belief there was a jamidar namely Jasu digar. Once he was bathing in the Khairi river above the khairi Bhandan Prayag. He found two sacred stones which are known as Salagrama(Bisnu stones) he could touch one sacred salagrama but another salagram sank into the river. from that day Raghunath jew math was established here.Have a look on the video. Good news to Know about the Math.I am from Jashipur block.But I cannot know more about this.I must go to the math very soon.Our MLA should take action and make a visitors place in future.Many people come to visit the Similipahar but they don't know about this math.This place has a historical scenery.
