Episode 1 : Similipal National Park
Similipal is the largest forest area of odisha and it's a major tourist attraction for nature lover.
Among the many sight seeing and tourist attractions in similipal, gurugudia has the most on offer being first destination while entering from Jashipur side.
It has the gurugudia nature camp operated by local community with support of forest department, govt of odisha. The major tourist attraction here are pine plantation, orchidarium, bird watching, forest trekking, wooden bridge, khairi river etc.
There used to be an elephant safari facility here, but it's discontinued here after relocation of the pet elephants.
It has facility of snacks shop and public toilet as well.
