I just bought the same wheels for my dad's WJ. I wanted to put new tires on it for him and his wheels were oxidized and gross so this is going to be a surprise for him!
@@88GEARS yeah it's the clear coated aluminum. The clear coat chips, water gets inside, and the aluminum starts oxidizing under the clear coat, bubbling it. Only way to fix it is to paint strip the clear cost off and them sand the aluminum down and polish it or clear coat again. I went with the jk wheels cause they're painted and a lot newer. It's just easier than trying to make his old wheels look decent. I'm going to put general grabber apt's on the jk wheels for him. It'll be a nice upgrade from what he has now. He's 74 but still gets around on his own and lives independently and he loves the wj.

I have an 04 WJ limited with 374,342 miles on it. Minor interior problems, that's it. Won't trade it for the world!!!!!!

It seems lots of jeep wheels get oxidation on them.

Did you have to use wheel adapters?
