Lots of questions on why I removed the gauge and why it states "Please note, you must send YOUR ECU and Gauge cluster in for programming. Both very easy to remove." on their website. Thank you to Dutch Coast Riders for reaching out to race lab for the answer. The 60-110 tune (which is what this video is) requires this to enable sport mode. if you are doing the 90-110 tune, the 90HO already has sport mode and is not required to be sent in.
Hey man, what model Yacht Club trailer are you running? I'm looking at a 2021 Spark 3up. I want a fairly affordable trailer, but also want to stay away from the Seadoo Move trailers. They seem to cheap to me, and I will be trailering several hours to Lake Havasu, or Parker to ride.
Looks like it. You should contact them to make sure it's for a 2022 though. racelabperformance.com/shop/ols/products/2017-plus-seadoo-gts-slash-gti-slash-gti-se-ecu-tuning
Hi Mike-great vid showing how to remove ECU. I'm thinking of going ahead with my 2017 Spark Trixx-only question; you're video cut short, I see the huge difference in acceleration, but what have you seen as top speeds for the mod? Thanks man!
Ok I am confused u have a 60 tuned it to110 and only do 49 I have a 2021 at 90 it does 50 now I am putting the trim kit on it this week. I would like to get some more top end out of it or as much as I can what do I need to do
I was told it had something to do with enabling sport mode. Idk if its true but it clearly says to send both on RaceLab's website. "Please note, you must send YOUR ECU and Gauge cluster in for programming. Both very easy to remove."
I just send him An e-mail with that question he told me that the 90 doesn’t need to remove the panel because they already has the high output straight away 👌🏼
Thanks, I think the tune is awesome. It has some balls to it. If you gun it you better hold on in sport mode. I think price wise its a great option. Like I said, I got the 60 hp knowing I was going to do this to it. The price difference between the 60 and 90 is about $700-800 depending on the deal you can get. This cost me $225 and gave me 20 more HP than the 90. There was one person on a forum saying there is no difference between the 90 and the 110 tune but I am not sure if he actually did any sort of comparison or was just talking out his ass. On the other hand there is another company that will do a 120 tune but its $100 more than the 110 so if people are saying there is no difference between the 90 and 110 then I cant see paying another $100 for 10 more HP you may or may not even notice. But yes, I am very happy with it and the turn around time at Race Lab was really quick too. Satisfied with both the tune and the company.
@@MikeT Thats were I am at right now. Thinking of waiting for the end of summer deals on a pair of 60hp Sparks and tuning the ecus. Any other mods planned for yours?
No. My friend got the same tune. That's where I got the idea from. He is also getting an exhaust and impeller. I am perfectly fine with just the ECU tune
It's different on the water vs. land. Takes A LOT more power to see gains in water. Acceleration is the primary gain. My 90HO will hit 49mph on glass water but I want crazy acceleration for the fun factor.
Me thinks you got fooled, going from 60HP to 110HP would yield you way more then 10 extra MPH. Not sure I'd pay nearly $300 for only 10MPH extra and a little more out the gate. But hay! if you love it then there you go.
It's 110. The tune doesnt do much as far as top speed. You are more or less limited on speed based off the size and pitch of the impeller. The tune gives you a lot better hole shot.
@@FinesseTVz No you dont. They have different stage tunes depending on what you have. This is the stock one and is meant for a stock impeller, intake and exhaust

best straight to the point video on 60hp to 110hp on youtube. thx
Thanks, Glad it helped
Great video! Noticed this video is a few years old. Just seeing how well it's held up at 110hp?
I have had no issues with the tune or the jetski
@@MikeT Awesome! Thanks for the reassurance 🙂
Does this tune void the warranty ?
Awesome video man ! I'm also thinking about doing the same upgrade on the ecu but I had to do some research on people that have done it.
Can you shoot a link to where you sent these parts?
What gas you have to put in there after the tune, isnt it like 91 or 93 octane
I run premium in all my powersports equipment

This is awesome man thanks! Can you upgrade a Spark to a Trixx? Do you really need IBR?
Nobody NEEDS IBR. Is it fun and convenient? Hell yes it is.
Thank god for you sir. A concise, superb video. God bless you.
Glad it helped
Can this be done with a 2022 gti 90

Why remove the panel?
They do something to it that enables sports mode.
@@MikeT but will reprogramming only work in sport mode if you move the panel ??
mine was reprogrammed only in the injection module
No idea. I just know when you go to pay for it online and get the info and what not it says you must send your ecu and gauge cluster
@@MikeT ok, thanks for giving me attention

around 50 mph
You limiting factor is you impeller if you upgrade it you will see more top speed

why did you remove the guage cluster? I've never heard of that needing to be re-calibrated after flashing the ECU.
I had the same question just send mine to racelap aswell but only the ecu

How will this work on the 90hp
The same, you just dont have to remove the gauge since the 90 already has sport mode activated
Great how to vid man. How are you liking it do you feel it was worth it?

I want to try that. How can I found the website for the tune company?

Who'd you send it to and how much did it cost ?
RaceLab
How much was it
$225

@22Jeffrey Fortino No lol... I work on airplanes. I have installed a lot of components that are in stupid spots or worse than this
Where did you send it to to get tuned
RaceLab
How did you manage to unscrew the ECU? I don't see how you could get a screwdriver in there.
90 degree bit driver or a 1/4in socket with a torx bit in it
Did you do the stage 2 or stage 3 tune from racelab?
Stage 2. Its the only non stock thing I have
That's nearly an 83% increase in hp.. doesn't really seemed like you gained much

Im running the riva stage 3, and got the maptunerX.
Big difference from my brothers stock 90 and my 110 ish tune.

did you boy your own tuner for this? if so which one?

I didn't pay anywhere near $300 for the tune and yes I (as well as most of the other people who have done this tune) are very happy with it
