Yes, the same way shown in the video. It was really easy. One bolt removes the outside cover, two other bolts need to be removed on the steering neck. After that, the whole steering assembly slides up, allowing you to replace these two rings.
Hey buddy, thanks a lot for the video which helped me solve the notorious Sea Doo Spark steering-squeak problem in 5 minutes. Keep up the good work. The factory assembly team made sure not to grease the plastic bushings on my steering column. But now it steers like a dream. Nothing but champagne and caviar for me.
Is it possible that the screws were just loose? You even mention that the plastic rings don't look worn down. So i'm wondering if it was putting the silicone lube and putting the screws back in that did the trick? Or did you try that before ordering the replacement parts?
Great video Do you think the same method would work on a 2021 spark trixx? I already have the parts..The dealer said that I need to take the hole top off??
Good video! For my Spark TRIXX model, I had to replace the lower silver and upper black "adjustable riser blocks. On the TRIXX model there are two metal pieces that slide and lock together, so that you may adjust the height of the handle bar…mine wore out too bad so I replaced that as well. Part number #277002093 for the riser blocks. This is for the Spark TRIXX models only.
Great! My 2012 GTI 130 has now same problem after 130 hours of use.
Thanks for this. I used these two parts on my steering for my 19' Trixx at 48 hours. Back to like new with zero wobble.
I have a 21 trixx and already have the parts..do you do it the same way he did??

This is such an easy fix! thank you very much for including the part numbers.

What website did you get it from?
I’m getting the same issue. Do you think the 2016 is the same part number? If so where did you buy them and how much did you spend?
I ordered from the seadoo website parts store. My steering parts were around $30cad I think. They will know the right parts.
My spark will turn left but not right at all? Any suggestions
Same for me!!
