I loved this video. I have 60 acres of hardwood timber in middle Tennessee. When I bought the property it was 100% closed canopy forest. Almost as soon as I bought it, I started cutting a few small "wildlife openings". I work on expanding them a little at a time when I can, but eventually I plan on one of them to become a 1.5-2 acre food plot, another to become a larger clear cut area for bedding and cover, and I will add a couple more small wildlife openings to add biodiversity.

We love to hear it! Keep up the good work! We have a bunch of other videos highlighting these techniques and many others for small landowners!

Middle TN here also. Cookeville-area. 80acres of desert, “beautiful” hardwood ridge-land. Professionally selected-cut about 40% but these videos have given me the confidence to get in there and do some surgical detail work.
I really appreciate the way you guys teach this stuff-makes sense and isn’t over-complicated.
