He starts college in 3 weeks on a Full scholarship 😊🎉 (proud Momma) majoring in Cyber Security and he wants to put all of his money in one bank account as he has $21,000 in HYSA and the rest at a regular Bank doing nothing. $20,000 was what he was comfortable with trying out a Non local branch in terms of HYSA. I'll encourage him to move his money to HYSA. He doesn't want to touch his money until he graduates college. I would like him to invest in something that could grow while he's in school. He won't invest anymore than $2 thousand, if any bc he's not crazy about stocks bc he's scared of risk as he cherishes every penny he has. I don't know much about stocks myself. How can I better convince him, and what can I have him invest in that has a good chance of growth?

I would prefer to Control over Ownership through Trusts and Foundations. Not Living Trusts, I prefer Trusts that provide Asset Protection!
