5:15 carbon arc gouging. The weldor is preparing the joint for welding by gouging out a groove. It's deafening and you never forget the sound.
And 7:13 too. At 7:41 CC says "weld the seam again", but it's not again :) that is actual welding
NO...Ha scriccato la saldatura perché evidentemente c'era una perdita percui ha eliminato del materiale per poi rifare una nuova saldatura...Ho lavorato nello stesso settore per Anni.!!!
@@mayoropl1Forse non è chiaro... Credo abbia scriccato la prima saldatura in seguito ad una perdita rilevata dopo il collaudo con acqua e francamente mi sembra esagerato usare la scriccatura quando basta una semplice smerigliatrice angolare che in tutti i casi sei obbligato ad usare dopo la scriccatura con elettrodo al carbone.!!!
@ Ti credo, tuttavia, la maggior parte del video è fuori servizio e mi chiedo se non abbiano semplicemente saldato prima l'interno e poi la sgorbia all'esterno per una migliore penetrazione e poi non ce lo abbiano mostrato. È insolito non vedere alcuna preparazione della saldatura tra il cappuccio e il corpo. Un po' sciatto secondo me.
@@ShredPile Quando si scricca c'è qualcosa che non va bene che bisogna rifare...Lo usavamo nei cantieri per pulire parti di macchine dove era presente acciaio inox ma in officina mai scriccato nulla.!!!
5:10 ese proceso se llama corte y escopleo con arco eléctrico y chorro de aire, sirve para retirar soldadura o en este caso preparar el material para recibir soldadura. Se trata de un dispositivo parecido a el maneral porta electrodos, pero se le conecta una manguera para hacer pasar aire a presión y se trabaja a muy alto amperaje con un electrodo de carbón puro con un recubrimiento de cobre. Comúnmente a este proceso se le conoce como arc-air

Back then we where able to make better looking welds.
If anyone started grinding after welding he had done a lousy job, and all would check up on him!

I clean the inside of these tubes. Where I work, crude oil is processed into aviation fuel, gasoline for vehicles, and other elements. As a worker working in a cleaning company, I see these types of tanks of all sizes everywhere in the field where I work.They usually have chemical dust in them. I clean them with a shovel and a bucket. That"s all.

@@loneliest0 Yeah, that's what I was picturing. Confined spaces like that freak me out, a little plate on one side about a foot wide says, "Do not Enter (permit only)" But our guys are pretty safe with fans and air testers and body alarms. I'm a sparky so I don't have to go in these tanks. Plumbers mostly and pipe fitters do that.
Back gouging is preferred here. Than beveling!!!!

Su doldurulduktan sonra içine tekrar basınçlı su basılarak belirlenen çalışma basıncını 1,5 misli basınçla test ediliyor olması gerekir.
