  • In this video, triple amputee, Linda K. Olson, shows viewers how she loads a motorized wheelchair into her van using a Bruno Joey lift. The rear-entry lift allows access to many more parking spaces than the side-door variety.
    The second half shows the computerized adaptive device with which she accelerates and brakes, allowing her to drive a modified vehicle using bilateral above knee prostheses.She steers with her left hand, aided by a steering knob--known in the old days as a "necker's knob".

    THANK YOU SOO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO!!!! I could cryyyy right now 😭. I am a tripple as well and didn’t know how I would be able to drive again !!! It’s so hard to find ppl like us that drive.
    Other tripple have videos but they still can move both of their arms without the hand.
    For me one arm is paralyzed and I’m a double above knee amputee. So tysm 😩 for this. God bless your heart ❤️

    this is so pure
