Not only was Churck Berry a great musician, he was a great entertainer, and he loved his audiences. You can see that in every performance. And yes, we ALL knew this song!

This was on a complication album my friend had when I was little.
Quay if you get the chance you have to look at some of the other songs that Chuck Berry has done, he has had dozens of hits over the years!! He was an excellent guitar player and he was full of energy. I think they really enjoy some of his other songs like Johnny be Good, or maybelline, there's a whole list of them. This is really not representative of the rest of Chuck Berry’s music. Brilliant But a different kind of brilliant to the rest of his stuff. This man IS the godfather of Rock n’ Roll in my opinion. Check out Johnny be Goode, Roll over Beethoven and so much more.
Yeah this was very risky for the TV at the time. Yeah he was flipping it off and then singing the song. I'm sure that barely made it through FCC rules.
