Yep.
Cube is interesting cuz their chapter consists of avoiding a beast that could kill you if it gets you but in battle, they're one of the most useful and powerful characters.
Yep especially if you trade in items during Akira's chapter to get accessories for Cube, Cube will become extremely powerful

Definitely, you'd think a robot protagonist would be boring but it's amazing to see this setting and the characters are well done in this episode.
Man, it's HARD to decide which version I like of the text just before the boss fight.
The fan translation for the snes had "KILL YOU..." which is cool outright, but "DIE, CHILD, DIE" is arguably more terrifying.
They both give me such good chills though.
Anyone else disappointed to not blow the airlock to kill the beast?
Not gonna lie, that beast jump scared me twice. As soon as they showed it, I had a suspicion they'd go full alien isolation on us with how quirky this game is and I was happy but also dreading it lol. Even the music sounded like footsteps such a brilliant and creepy chapter. And the description of the dead body was...yikes.
I know what you mean. I freaked out ever time I heard those loud footsteps.
...man, this chapter received hella upgrades
specially the post boss cutscene. Before, it only said that "humans cannot be trusted." but now... man. I now just feel really bad for Cube.
This is my favorite remaster/remake of all time, the developers really added so much to the game all over, I've never seen such dedication and passion for the game's narrative.
Also, Captain Square's voice is SO much better in Japanese!
Haha I bet that's true for many of the voices too, it's definitely hit or miss with the English actors.
@@BAIGAMINGHonestly, most if the English voice actors nailed it compared to the Japanese ones in my opinion

Anyone else feel like this chapter was just one big Among Us lobby? Especially reporting Kirk's body (albeit missing lol)

Yeah, as a modern example it's definitely like Among Us but the other commenter was probably right, it's probably inspired by Alien when the game was originally made.

How do you get his robotic upgrade parts in the final chapter?
I'm so confused. Can't find any and I wasted them in the outsider

They're occasionally dropped from mechanical enemies like those multi-faced things
Gather them in Near Future and don't waste them all on Taroimo

@@BAIGAMING It's not what I expected the computers weakness to be. I thought there was some hidden unused terminal you need to use.
it wasn't really a weakness it was just the easiest terminal to connect to it.

and what better way to fight an AI in cyberspace then uploading yourself into a video game that resembles a turn-based, tactical RPG. Cube simply replaces the Captain Square character with himself and the game itself is modified to make OD-10 the boss.@@WizPigTactics
Do you receive nothing from clearing the mini-game?
No it’s supposed to make up for there being no fighting besides the boss
Yeah, i leraned it the hard way. Even with save states back in the day it was hard as hell.
If you manage to beat it in one go with kirk there he gives your props for beating it. But that's it.

Can someone please explain this chapter’s ending to me? Who is Behemoth, what is OD-10, did they make it to earth, who died/who lived?
The Behemoth was killed by Darthe, OD-10 was the ship's computer, everyone except for Darthe, Kato, and Cube died
Was Behemoth a monster or something? Why was it on the space ship? And why did the computer destroy the space ship?
@@celestialpianosage3201 the behemoth was a monster being transported to earth, the computer wanted to kill the crew, not destroy the ship. It felt like everyone hated each other and the computer's solution was to just kill them all

@@celestialpianosage3201 the behemoth was going to be tested on to be used as a weapon. The computer saw that the crew hated each other and it felt like there was no chance of reconciliation, so its solution was to just kill them all
I also played distant future chapter after i played the other six chapters, i figure its a good way to end the 7 main stories.
I don’t know why but the game made me repeat the kirk dead , I don’t know if i’ts a glitch
