S2k more twitchy, more eager to rotate and oversteer from throttle. Higher redline on s2k intoxicating. Porsche more refined and comfortable, miss the 6 speed in s2k. Beautiful flat 6 wail. Tight polar moment or interia allows for faster rotation and direction changes in a more stable manner
Nice video. I have a 981 Cayman S but itching to replace the feeling of what I used to get when driving an s2000. Would you say GR86 or BRZ would satisfy and not miss 981S as much?
p.s. you're blurring the tach not the speedo (or rather, you do obscure the digital readout but...) ;-) though I also personally think it's not that necessary... (it's somewhat obvious, so let it be?)
I have the opportunity to purchase a CPO well optioned Boxster GTS. I’ll be trading in a 2018 BMW, M4 competition. The M4 is a great car but too much car. Your thoughts on getting the GTS. Thanks.
I took delivery of a 2015 Porsche Boxster GTS Conv 3 weeks ago. 3.4l Flat 6. It’s my daily drive, and my first Porsche ever. What a fun car! I'm struggling to fault it!
Check out Zygrene’s review of the same car here: ua-cam.com/video/_3VjwvKlFEo/v-deo.html

Great car. I picked one up a few weeks back, with only 48 000 km on the clock. The stock exhaust note is insane. Could not be happier.
Porsche is one of the only companies that still offer stick-shift transmissions to their newer cars, which I appreciate.
I see you're a man of culture as well, but I still prefer manual cars all the way haha
@@ArthurChociai Gated manuals are the way to go for me, especially the one on the Lamborghini Murcielago.
What I love about the Boxster over a Cayman... this sound from inside as filmed here, it doesn't sound like that in a Cayman!
Absolutely!
Great review. It’s not always about horsepower.
Nice review. This is a nicely equipped 981 GTS. How would you compare the driving experience of this 981 vs the S2000?

I don’t know what you’re talking about officer, I always stay below the speed limit
@@jubbalandcars oh yeah you forgot to mention the 981 has a built-in limiter anyways, good thing its fun to 55! #boxstersHaveThatBetterOver911s

M4 is not a dedicated sports car like the Porsche is. The intentionality and sports car ethos built from the ground up will be quite noticeable
