I have one, Racing Yellow with black top, seats and trim. It is gorgeous. People follow me around to see it up close, and take pictures. It has the best sounds of any car, ever. Love the car!

I also own a ‘15 Boxster GTS, PDK. I daily drive a Panamera, but if the Boxster was my only car, I wouldn’t complain. It does everything extremely well.

I bought a 2016 model just 3 months ago. I am so in love with it, not just for the exhaust noise, but for every part of it! It is my daily drive, and I was recently able to do a 2,000 mile trip in her. She was effortless, and she attracts a lot of attention from a very diverse age range!

I own this exact spec. If this was filmed last year I would swear this is my car. I got if from a Porsche dealer in Virginia last year. I absolutely love it.

981 GTS a masterpiece of automotive art and engineering. Built when Porsche was on top of their game and probably not to be recreated. Get one now if you can before they become really expensive

Me too: 2015 Boxster GTS Guards Red MT6. IMO you seriously under-rated the car. 8's and 9's across the board from me. I'll own this car until the day I die.

I own one as well, and having driven Porsches for 50+ years it is near the top of my list, only bettered by my 1998 C2S.

I love the random guy in the background taking a picture of the car, lol. I have a well-optioned '13 Boxster S and get that all the time!
IMO, it's better than a 7 for a road-trip (though it's too stiff for me to dd). You can easily get 2 carry-on sized pieces of luggage in the frunk alone, plus a little bit more, and you've got the whole trunk as well. Getting nearly 30MPG on the highway doesn't hurt either! It is way too easy to go way too fast, however.

Sorry but being an owner of a 981 Boxster I would have to disagree with two of your ratings (not a biased opinion, I wouldn't have problems in criticizing it). Premise: I'm basing my ratings on the fact that this is a sport car, so in each category it has to be judged based on the fact that it's not an SUV.
    - Daily driver: I would give it a solid 9..find me another mid engined sport car with such suspensions, comfy driving position and a LARGE booth(s).
    - Road trip: my rating would be 10...the front and rear trunks are providing possibly the biggest storage space of any compact sport car. Again, find me another 2 door, front or mid engined sport car with more space (as a reference a 911 has half the space due to the engine in the back, a Z4 or Supra just the rear and they are not so focused like this car). The car is a great cruiser and I've done very long journeys without any issue.
Overall I consider the 981 the best sport car (easily) considering design, brand, quality, luggage space, driving dynamics and value proposition. I have a manual I'm having very hard times considering other alternatives because there aren't any actually. My car is from 2013 and looks still fresh, adequate in all car gatherings and non-car-people think that it's half its age and costs twice as much.

You are 100% correct in everything you wrote, I have a 2013 Boxster S 6-speed with full exhaust, tune, etc. and agree what more could I possibly want in a sports car? Since the 1 in the review is a PDK, daily is easily a 9.

The Boxsters just get better and better. How do they do it?

Appreciate PCA content but one mile review is an idiotic formula. Just do a proper length drive. 10 mile review, whatever,

I completely agree. Drive the car as long as is needed to get a solid first impression. The 1-mile limit serves no benefit whatsoever.

We do actually drive a bit more than a mile but, we do keep the drives shorter than a standard video. These take much less time and cost to produce. They are meant to add to the various types of content we offer. We will still do the long form videos with full drives.
